Nova and Stefan: Favorite Uncle.
Nova groaned. Her Uncle’s self-righteousness she normally found endearing was not helping her stave off her anger. Of course he’d get involved. Hypocrite. “Did you not HEAR me? I was getting rid of date rapists. Who tried to drug me.” She sighed as she listened to him. It seemed reasonable to learn to control it. Wasn’t that part of why she turned off her switch in the first place? “Fine, no need to be so over dramatic. As it so happens, I agree that I should learn how to control it. Part of why I turned myself off to begin with.” She held out her hand. “Uncle.” She rolled her eyes. “My father and mother both would never forgive you for not trying to dry me out first.” She grabbed his hand. “Show me the way, oh fearless leader.” The sarcasm in her voice was intense. “No need to kill me, Doctor Bloodlust!”

Kyle and Nova: Siblings.
Nova snorted and shook her head at her brother’s response. “If you think you can do so much better, flip yours. I dare you. Show me how it’s done, big brother.” Her voice came out a taunt and she let out an eerie giggle. “Kyle, it is the right of a little sister to learn from big brother.” She finished off the boy and snapped his neck. “But, if you don’t flip it...I’ll have to step my game up.” She shoved the guy in a trunk and changed her clothes into a more risque outfit than she’d wear otherwise. “You have thirty seconds to make up your mind, dearest brother!” She shoved the trunk back into her closet and glanced back at him. “You have exactly THREE minutes to decide...tick tock, brother!”
Nova looked at her and snorted. “Girl, I own this area. People hardly notice. To them I am just making out with random frat boys! And they go out on adventures all the time!” She moved her way to the girl and chuckled. “You’ve got balls. I’d like you..if I could feel anything.” She walked around Kayla observing her. “I’m careful. My parents have been annoyingly...adamant about that. He’ll just remember a good time. What do you care anyway?”

Oh honey! I don’t give a shit what you think. You may look like my mother but you are nothing like her! Though, I have to give props to a woman who can do the shit you’ve done! Impressive!

Nova giggled as she played with the ridiculous hat she found in the sorority house. Fratboys were beginning to bore her. Time to take on a sisterhood! There had been a few attempts to lock her up but Nova wasn’t having it. There was only one person who could get her to feel without locking her up and drying her out. And she was avoiding that little ginger like the plague. As she walked out of the sorority house she was targeting she hissed as she heard someone outside. Possibly a familiar someone. “Who is following me?!” She turned around and groaned. “Don’t ya’ll get that I’ll feel when I am fricken ready to. I mean..come on. Why does everyone have to be such a damn hypocrite. It’s not like my snacks are innocent.” She scoffed. “Did my Mother or Father send you? Because they can you know...come get me themselves. If they want. I don’t get why they are so freaked. They flipped shit before too.”
Nova and Stefan: Favorite Uncle.
“You’re a bit of a hypocrite to tell me that I can’t get my ripper on. You practically invented the term, Uncle.” Nova’s eyes narrowed as she cleaned up her apartment by the college. “You have a lot of blood on your hand. It just seems like a Salvatore thing. I’m a late bloomer.” She yawned as she grabbed the four frat boys that were her snack earlier and shoved them into a trunk. “I’ll burn this later.” She shoved the trunk next to the door. “I’m being careful enough. Besides...most of those guys are brigands. Date rapers. I’m killing people who hurt others. It’s not like they are innocent.” Nova laughed. “One of them tried to drug ME. As if I couldn’t smell it in my mixed drink. Monsters.” She began to dust her blinds. “The worst of libertines, actually. Masquerading as young men who merely want an education instead of in some girls hot box who has no idea where she is or who she is.” Nova snarled. “Ohh. I get so..mad.” Nova closed her eyes for a moment. Trying to calm her anger. She knew other emotions came shortly after and she did not want that. “What did you want, Uncle Stefan?”

Kyle and Nova: Siblings.
“Big brother! What a delightful thing it is to have a visit. Let me guess, Daddy and Uncle Steffy have told you about my so called ‘sad choices’ in life currently?” Nova danced her way across the room to Kyle and giggled. “Bro, broski, broheim! Relax! I’ll be ready to turn it on in about six months. Just..let me bathe in the frat boy buffet, kay?” Nova sat down on her couch and yawned. “Besides, it’s not like these guys are pure as the driven snow. Am I right, George?” A man who looked about 20 groaned on the floor. There were four bodies piled up that all looked Fraternity in the corner. Nova pulled up the guy groaning into her lap and clucked her tongue. “Aw. Poor Poor George. You see, I caught him trying to drug a poor girls drink. We don’t do that, Georgie!” Nova smacked his face lightly. “If you can’t get it willingly, try to clean up yourself or go on to someone else. No need to rape somebody.” She sighed and drank from him before looking back up at Kyle. “You’d think he would be better since his mom raised him right! You see, I used compulsion to find out EVERY facet of his life. Fascinating!” A small whimper left the man and Nova laughed. “Maybe I’ll keep him as my own personal pet man toy.” Nova sighed. “Though...I could probably find a more...pretty one.”
Nova scoffed at her Uncle Stefan and shook her head. “No way. I’m not full yet and I am NOT letting that ginger get away.” She leaned in. “Gingers taste the best, you know. I was lucky to have found him.” Her voice came out whiny and she tried to pull her wrist away from him. “Let go of me! God. You and Dad have been such buzzkills today! I don’t get what the problem is? I clean up my messes and the world has less douche mongers! You realize that some of those fratboys DATE RAPED some girls?! Yes. I asked before I killed them. I am doing the world a favor. And who the hell are you to tell me what to do? I am an adult and you aren’t my Dad. What do you care anyways?! You are such a hypocrite! I know you were WAY worse than me .You practically invented the word ripper.” She tried to pull her arm away again with no success. “Dick!”

“An adventure?” Her voice came out cracked and she looked at his hand for a moment before grabbing it. “O-okay, Uncle Stef.” She let him lead her away to the adventure. She had always been fond of her Uncle Stefan. She liked how kind and compassionate he was. She also found it amusing when he drank with her father. “I just...don’t know what to do right now. Have you ever loved someone but it wasn’t the right time?”
“Slow down? Pops, pops, pops. I am just getting started. What’s the big deal? it’s just douchey frat boys. I wasn’t going to kill them originally but..you know..one of them grabbed my ass and that wasn’t cool. So, I may have..ate him and his buddies.” Nova pulled her wrist away and growled back. “He’s not an asshole, okay?! He doesn’t even know this is going on. It was the wrong time and...well, I didn’t want to feel that love anymore. But we’re not talking about this because I refuse to go back to that pain. Besides, there were other reasons.” Nova licked her lips and sighed. “So, are you going to give me a shovel or what, old man? There’s only so many hours until daytime and I don’t want this to get in the news. They’ll just be another set of stupid frat fucks who disappeared after a party.”

Nova was doing a dance show at a local club to make extra money. Not stripping. She didn’t have anything against strippers but she was not into it for herself. She began to dance on stage to a song one might hear at a burlesque show. It helped her to keep her switch off. She didn’t currently understand why her father and uncle were freaking out so much about it.

Nova was letting lose. She didn’t have a care in the world and wanted to just party in the clubs in downtown New Orleans. The DJ was playing her favorite song and crowds were easier to feed in without getting caught. She found a guy with red hair that looked similar to her ex and seduced him into thinking she was interested. She lured him to the back and began to feed on him. As she groaned from the awesome feeling of feeding she heard someone behind her. Nova looked up and healed the wound of the guy. Pity. She wanted to be the last thing he ever saw. She looked him in the eyes and compelled him. “You forget everything other than the fact that we hooked up and it was amazing and if given the chance again, you’d try once more. Now go!” She wiped her mouth and sighed before turning to her unexpected surprise guest. “Yes? What the hell do you want?” Nova narrowed her eyes. “You are being a buzzkill and if you are here to try and make me feel...I can guarantee you will not be happy with the result.”
“Thank you, Kass. As I can still think logically I know it’s best if you leave me now. I do love you. Even if I don’t feel it. And I don’t want you to get further involved. Just..be there for me when I come down, okay?” Nova moved back from Kassidy and flitted into the woods out of sight.

“Dad. There’s nothing wrong with me. Not anymore. You see, there’s this NIFTY little thing called a switch that vampires are allowed to use. I got tired of being a whiny bitch pining after that ginge and being upset about the natural order of things. Like eating douchey frat boys. Now...I won’t get caught if you get me a shovel. Also, would appreciate if you kept mom out of this because my brothers and sister are already in the know and I am pretty sure in about six months when I possibly decide I am done with this...it’ll make me feel bad. Even though I don’t know.” She giggled in a very unsettling way.
Too painful to deal with too beautiful to forget.

Holding the other by the neck she quickly let go again when she saw who it was and that it was no danger for her. “Never sneak up on me ever again.”
Nova laughed and shook her head carelessly. “Relax, Aunt Care.” She sat down on the dining table and sighed. “I came to check on you and make sure you and Uncle Stefan leave me alone while I am on my...vacation from emotions, as it were.” She picked up a china plate and stared at it. “Hm. You see, I don’t want my Dad or Mom to come whining to you and uncle Stef about how I am no longer embracing my emotions. So I’ll do it for them.” Nova sat the plate back down gently. “I flipped my switch. I don’t give a shit. In about six months if you guys want me to be a whiny bitch again...feel free to ask but...do not mess with me before then. Oh, and you really don’t want to threaten someone who doesn’t care at the moment, Auntie.”

“I didn’t know that Nova, I’m sorry.” He sighed. “Really, I am. If i knew you needed support I would’ve been there in a heartbeat. Yes. If you give me that album I’ll let you go.” He said reluctantly. He didn’t want to, but he knew it was the only way she’d give him the photo album, and so he gave in.

“Excellent!” She handed Grayson the photo album. “Just..keep it away from me.” She grabbed her suitcase and left as swiftly as she possibly could. “Tata, broski!” Nova left without a second glance. Not caring that her brother would have to clean up the body of the now long forgotten frat boy. She was ready to have some fun.

“Army wives could work. The thing with netflix? That’s just so much on there sometimes it’s hard to choose.”
“I know that you were hurting, I -” he cut himself off with a sigh. “I thought that you’d want your space, so I tried to give it to you. If you ever needed to talk about anything I would’ve been there for you Nova, I still would be. I completely understand what you’re saying, I do. And I know why you decided to flip the switch, but everything you do now will all come back at once when you turn it back on, and it’ll hurt a lot more than it did.” He sighed. “Nova no! You can’t burn that, you’ll hate yourself for it if you do, please - just hand it over.”

“Sometimes you don’t need space. Sometimes you need people to push their way to you and be annoyingly there. That is what I needed. Would I have pushed you a way a bit? Probably but it is what I needed.” Nova spoke calmly in a very eerie way .No emotions in her voice and sighed. “Will you let me leave if I give you this stupid album?” She held it up and looked at it. “Because I’d rather not be here when Dad gets home. We both know he’d lock my ass up in the cellar and dry me out and..well, I am not a fan of that. Let me go in peace and I’ll give you this. If not? I’ll burn the shit out of it.” Nova smiled. “Your choice, big brother.”
