Summary: Fred wanders into a bookshop looking to pick up a book and ends up getting picked up himself

You sat on the ground behind the counter, sorting through some of the books that had been placed in the donate basket, that would either be either be gifted to the school, or placed in the back section for the book club which used your shop ever Thurday night. You heard the bell signalling someone entering but you didn’t check, it was probably one of your regulars or someone browsing whilst waiting on the train
While you were on the ground, Fred looked around the shop warily. All he’d ever saw was the sign for Lupin-Black books but he’d never come in. It looked so welcoming and cozy but he just wasn’t all that much into books, instead he was here to pick up a book. Ron had ordered one special for Hermione, a first edition, and since he was busy with work he asked Fred to get it for him
Waling over towards the counter, he peered deeper into the shop but he couldn’t see anyone “Hello?” he extends the start, tone a little confused
Your ears perked up at the voice, it was rather nice, of course you couldn’t see their face but you hoped it and them were just as lovely…oh and didn’t mind a minor heart attack
You moved to a crouched position before popping up seamlessly “Hi” you smile, holding back your giggle as the rather tall ginger stumbles backwards into a display
“Fuck me” Fred clutches his chest in shock before realising the mess he just made "I’m so sorry” he starts scrambling to pick up the books, leaning on the table as he does and only knocks off more “Shit…fuck…sorry for saying shit and fuck” he apologies looking up towards the counter
newsflash bitches the philippine electoral results so far makes me wanna fucking shrivel up and die. a dictator's son is in the lead by almost 10 million. what the fuck.

maybe you and the kids are watching the race at home and he gets into a crash (nothing major maybe he just spun out). but salem and teddy are freaking out, and that makes waverly start crying, obviously you’re worried too but you know he’s okay. and you can’t get any of them to calm down until remus gets home and they can see with their own eyes he’s okay

For the first time since the crash, you're breathing easily. Remus steps through the front door, scrapes and scratches littering his face and arms, but nothing terrible. Nothing life-threatening. Nothing fatal.
Waverly, the youngest of your children, is desperately wailing for consolation, behavior she'd picked up from your other two children who'd watched the crash on live television.
There hasn't been a single dry eye since the incident, and Remus feels his heart sink as he walks in on his four favorite people in the world, all distraught beyond reason.
Teddy makes it to his father first, but Salem is the first into Remus's arms. He hoists the little girl up against his chest, letting her bury her face in his shoulder as she cries.
He ruffles Teddy's messy hair as the boy clings to his father's leg, rasping out a comforting, "'S okay loves. Daddy's okay, I promise."
Even just the sound of his voice, though scratchy and hoarse, lessens the pit of anxiety in your stomach, and your hand comes up to brush through Waverly's soft, wispy hair.
"There's Daddy," You coo at the baby, a wobbly smile on your face as Remus looks up at you sadly, "See? He's okay, jus' a little accident."
