i’m not a very fashionable person (too busy to keep up??) so these are just my personal essentials:

  • i’m stuck in plaid hell. i love plaid. everywhere. skirts, pants, shoes, my favourite coat. i bought this skirt and top recently and i want to go for looks more like this
  • 90s style, and this blog is good for inspiration. short spaghetti strap dresses underneath long sleeved tops, chunky shoes (dr martens for me), long skirts (straight, not the boho maxi kind), plaid plaid plaid plaid plaid
  • muted, softer colours. i’ve for a long time loved really strong primary colours so to change it all up i’m going for more softer shades. taupe, mauve, grey, forest green, blue-gray.
  • i love old sports and travel bags. i found merch from the olympics 94 in lillehammer, this shoulder bag that fits my laptop and college stuff. i absolutely love it. it looks like this but smaller. i’m tired of leather. and michael kors bags, everyone has them here.
  • t-shirts from the 70s. you know those that look like they’re too small on you? loves it.
  • i want to look like keira knightley in atonement. flowy sheer floral shirts, and this blue shade is just everything to me.

and my hair is sooooooooooo bad right now i can’t give you any handy tips, i just spray it with leave in conditioner before i go to bed and try not to think about it. i think i’m doing box braids again soon.
