In which Josh and Donna are bad at social distancing.
So, I haven’t written these two for years but I’ve been rewatching lately and loving them all over again. This idea sparked from a Twitter conversation I was having – and a few thousand words later, here I am.
In terms of where this story picks up with the characters, imagine it slots into the narrative late Season 4, before the kidnapping. All the major events of the Sorkin years – minus that one – have taken place, but technologically speaking it’s somehow 2020 so they have computers with functioning video conferencing software as they navigate a global pandemic. It centres on Josh and Donna, with a little Toby, Leo, Jed and CJ on the side.
Anyway, I thought I’d give it a boost on here as well as AO3, and I hope a few of you enjoy it!
Okay, so you know how I came back from nowhere and suddenly posted a bunch of my urgent Fitzsimmons feelings? Well, I wrote a whole post-series, canon-complaint soft epilogue for a soft epilogue over the weekend.
This is inspired by the throwaway line from Jemma to Daisy in the finale, with the implication of a secret. It explores Fitz, Jemma and Alya’s lives together after SHIELD.
