Queer and Here

@not-your-average-trans-person

I'm queer and a trans guy. I post memes, drawings, maybe some quotes and answer any questions on lgbtq+

I'm currently questioning myself in terms of romantic identity and I'm considering exploring how aromantic fits me (it feels right but I don't know a whole lot about the experience or if what I'm feeling is aromance - I also struggle with self-invalidation which makes this kind of this extra tricky on my own).

I still experience romantic attraction, I have a girlfriend whom I love very much, but romantic feelings take a long time to come on for me, and I seem to prioritise other types of relationship in terms of desirability.

I'd appreciate it other aros could respond with a yay or nay-type of thing on if what I'm experiencing could be aromance.

(Sorry for this essay of an ask and thank you to any and all responses to it. ❤)

This sounds a lot like Demiromantic, you don’t develop romantic feelings until after there is already a strong emotional bond, and even then it’s a low chance and not as strong as an alloromantic persons

as someone who's genderfluid, this is a big help!!! It's the pronoun dressing room link, in case anyone needs it :) it's also helpful if you're questioning or just trying to find a good set of pronouns to use! you can either write in your own or choose from a variety of presets :) ALSO NAMES!! you can write in your own name!!! if you already know your pronouns and are trying out names (or both), then THIS CAN HELP!!!! it puts any pronouns into a default story or longer, more interesting stories WITH TRIGGER WARNINGS before you click on one!!! this thing is super duper cool and I'm sure many people have seen it around tumblr already, but it's a great resource that I want to add to my blog :) enjoy!!!

i Totally recommend it really helps.
