it is literally TERRIFYING that some terfs are 14, 15 years old. when you're young it is so fucking easy to get sucked into all kinds of ideology and ways of thinking. so like, this isn't a post for hardcore terf scum, balls deep in their fake science and jacking off to how "rational" and "radical" they are, it's for the young people who maybe have seen some posts which look like they are making some valid points about trans people not being real or being harmful or whatever:

stop. take a good think. you probably interacted with trans people online if not in real life. trans people make amazing art, they are talented scientists, their jokes are hilarious. trans people spearheaded lgbt progress (sylvia rivera and marsha p. johnson, anyone?). terfs may make you feel like you're fighting the good fight, like you're a radical punk squashing the system or whatever, but you gotta realize their beliefs are literally rooted in white supremacy and they will do nothing but drag down you deeper into the pipeline of hate.

so, at the risk of sounding condescending or whatever - take a walk outside, unfollow some people and most importantly, think about and research how trans women literally always have been on the frontlines of feminism.

are you guys ever gonna get tired of calling neurodivergent coded characters dumb or

y’all will see a character that has a short attention span, disorganized, seeks attention through making themselves the butt of jokes/”class clown” and be like wow what a dumb fucking stupid idiot bitch. how do they even tie their shoes in the morning. i bet they fucking faceplant into doors every day because they’re too dumb to know what a handle is.

seeing discourse on twitter that is literally just "white homeless people don't deserve money because white privilege means you can stop being poor anytime you want", and honestly it's becoming very obvious to me that the applications of identity politics that completely exclude all class analysis are deliberately designed to make it so the wealthier elements of certain marginalized communities can feel wholly comfortable with embracing the social darwinist aspects of neoliberal ideology.

I recall seeing some TERFs gloat about refusing to hold open doors for disabled ""males"" or go out of their way to bash specifically autistic men and like... Lmao just bending over backwards to make ableism out to be liberatory so long as you can pretend the only victims are "male."

it really sucks because so many kids that were gifted in school may have an undiagnosed neurodivergency, but they remain undiagnosed because they were/are considered smart and people have such a hard time believing neurodivergent people can succeed just as well or better than neurotypical people. many gifted kids may have autism or adhd but are unable to get help for the struggles of those things because people refuse to believe they can be smart and have autism, adhd, or another neurodivergency.

He was shot three times in the back entering his own home. The police are not going to get any better under Joe Biden, in fact, they will continue to get worse because there will be less media scrutiny. There is little to no media coverage of this story because of that very reason. We have to keep these stories in the public eye and continue to fight to defund the police just as hard in 2021.

shoutout to trans men, nonbinary men, transmascs, etc who are curvy, fat, have wide hips or chests they can’t flatten, who are short, who have long hair or babyfaces or high voices, who are gender nonconforming, who can’t or don’t want to transition medically for whatever reason, who will probably never “pass” in a way that looks cis.

cis men are not the height of masculinity and you don’t have to be indistinguishable from them to be masculine. people misperceiving you doesn’t define what you are.

Can we please stop with the “being bi is liking all women and three men” stereotypes? You guys try so hard to emphasize that bisexuality isn’t 50/50 but create posts that are just as harmful. As a bisexual who prefers guys, seeing posts like that makes me doubt my sexuality and sends me down another loop of “what if I’m straight and I’m faking it for attention”. Altough I usually come back to bi, the period of questioning because of an instagram post is really stressful for me, and I’m sure I’m not the only one who feels like this.
