Hello Tumblr,
2 weeks ago I got to experience one of the greatest things in my life. I finally went to Europe! 3 cities for 10 days and a group of people from all over the United States (33 strangers, not including Eijneb!) Best decision ever!
I went through EF College Break. It was very easy and stress free. I was able to do payment plans which was very convenient. If you’re from the ages 18-28 and don’t feel like making your itinerary then this is a really good tour company to do that especially if it is your first time to traveling internationally or by yourself.
Personally, if I were to travel again to Europe I might just plan my whole trip myself. I wasn’t able to lots of the things I planned on doing to being so exhausted everyday. Be ready to walk A LOT! Wear comfy shoes and stay hydrated. Your tour director also gives you options for activities and you get to do some excursions. Pick them wisely because those extra activities take up most of your free time in each city.
So for this trip, I chose to go to London, Paris, and Amsterdam. I am so glad I did. All the cities were beautiful and just breathtaking. I kept asking myself if I was dreaming or not. I would do anything to go back especially Paris. Paris will always have a special spot in my heart. I mean it’s always been a dream to go there and I didn’t take 3 years of French in high school for nothing! It was awesome! If I have time I’ll post pics from each city. I really regret not taking more videos/pic with my camera, but at least I got lots of Snaps, really funny ones too.
Like I said in my other posts (Instagram, facebook, etc.) I really did not think I would make friends. At my age of 25, I think it is actually harder making friends. I don’t really go out and get to meet new people often, plus I’m shy too! So doing this actually was kinda had a good outcome= more friends! Everyone was awesome and got along really well. Except for when Eijneb and I had to babysit and stress about someone, but it’s all good even though I almost broke down In Oxford because of her. Anyways, meeting these new people were cool. Got closer to some when we did the pub crawl in London, late nights in our hotel in Paris, and a sex show in Amsterdam. And when everyone left to go back to the States it was sooo bittersweet. Kinda felt like it was too fast and too soon. But thanks for all the memorable memories. Definitely will treasure all the adventures and time we had with each other.
(Hopefully, if people are down they’re able to come here to SJ. I know Molly will cuz she a true homie, but idk with the Creeper and Weirdo, they think we too much haha)
