NO girl dont ruin your early 20s by staying home every saturday and lamenting the death of your childhood while also being afraid to even act like a 20 something year old bc you still feel so young yet so old and lost all at once haha you’re so sexy!
i wish people were kinder to people who speak slowly or stutter. and to people who need time to process what others are saying, or to translate their thoughts and feelings to words. i function at a slower pace than some people have the patience for and im not doing anything wrong. they are by being rude.
would just like to give a reminder that this post is not just about neurodiversity. while about that too, it was mainly written about chronic illness since it has made this a bigger problem for me. i have stuttering, slurring, brain fog. it’s killed my short term memory. please do not forget about chronic illness.
Nunca vas a saber
Lo que sentí al mirar todo lo que tú nunca podrás ver de ti.

First, you think the bird is a fool.
They you realize the bird is smarter than you and actually checked first.

huh, the full video is almost two minutes long, and what got cut was entirely title and credits:
Reblog for the full length one… because you know heaven forbid people credit artists for their hard work that made us laugh or smile.
okay so that’s at least one person who would have no problem if they got sent back to medieval times, the guild hall absolutely going off to this mashup
thinking of how one of my twitter mutuals tried to do the ai generated greentext and got like. a genuine piece of poetry with meaning that actually feels like a person wrote it
this is one of the most effective poems i’ve ever read and it was written by an algorithm that was prompted to write something completely different than what it ended up making. what the hell
Not to sound like a fuckin hippie but please for the love of god start noticing and appreciating the natural world around you. You don’t have to go hike the entire Appalachian trail or anything and I get that not everyone has access to the outdoors for various reasons, but just fucking … look around you when you’re outside. Notice the sky and the sun and the birds and creatures. Start caring about them. I’m begging you.
You are not what your mental illness says you are. You are not a burden, you are not a monster, you are not worthless, you are human. Part of being human is having emotions and making mistakes, that doesn't make you any less worthy of love!
Tour the Ocean through the Art of Sound
The ocean is one of the largest ecosystems on our planet. From eye-catching waves to the darkness of the twilight zone, it’s a place filled with mystery and rapid change.
For a scientist studying ocean color at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center in Greenbelt, Maryland, there was one more question–what does it sound like?
Before long, a “symphonic ocean experience” was born, combining satellite imagery, ocean color data and programming expertise. Learn more about how data gets converted to music and sound here:
This World Oceans Day, enjoy a tour of the ocean set to sound. Here we go:
Bering Sea
This melody explores the phytoplankton blooms in the western Bering Sea along the coast of the Kamchatka Peninsula collected by Aqua/MODIS on May 15, 2021. The melody created for this image was aimed at capturing the movement of the eddies or the circular movements of water. Data came from the image’s red, green, and blue channels.
Rio de la Plata
This melody explores a spring bloom in the South Atlantic Ocean off the coast of Argentina, Uruguay, and Brazil, lending the water many different shades of green, blue, and brown. The Rio de la Plata estuary in the northwest corner of the above image gets most of its tan coloration from sediments suspended in the water. The melody paired with the data evokes the sediment plumes and swirls happening off the coast.
Coral Sea
Data for the sounds of the Coral Sea were collected over the course of one year from the Aqua/Modis satellite. The information was extracted from a series of 32-day rolling averages for the year 2020, displaying the movement of chlorophyll a data.
Chlorophyll a is a specific form of chlorophyll used in photosynthesis. It absorbs most energy from wavelengths of violet-blue and orange-red light. It is a poor absorber of green and near-green portions of the spectrum, and that’s why it appears green.
Western Australia
Off the coast of western Australia is the appearance of swirls in the ocean. To catch the movement of the Indian Ocean, data was collected from 31 days of imagery examining blue wavelengths of light. The information was gathered from the Suomi-NPP/VIIRS instrument aboard the Joint Polar Satellite System (JPSS) series of spacecraft.

I'm not a Christian but if I was one I think I'd want to be like the pastor at my brother's old church.
There was a homeless dude with major head trauma who would go to every Sunday service, and at the end of the service, he would be given what was left of the communion bread.
It wasn't a big deal or anything, there was just a lot of bread, so someone would bag it up and you'd see him around town munching on it, you know?
One day I was sitting in for a bible study group and a lady pointed out that technically, according to the good book, the communion was not supposed to leave the church.
Not to be mean, but like, just sort of offhand, right?
And our man pastor D doesn't get up on a soapbox, doesn't get mad, doesn't agree, just sits quietly for a couple seconds and then smiles, and says, "Jesus would have given him the bread."
That's powerful shit, my guys. Still hits me
Pastor D passed away this year. He was 98 years old, had a faulty heart and a broken hip, and fell down the church stairs three separate times only to walk it off. He only missed sermons when he was in the hospital, and he told my brother he was a good kid. Sometimes he'd cuss. He was a good man

In terms of like, Please For The Love Of God Get Hobbies That Aren't Scrolling Through An App For Six Hours A Day, I understand and experience completely the argument of like. with the stressors of modern work, you don't have the energy at the end of the day to do anything but mindlessly watch Netflix and scroll through your phone. but like I would like to gently encourage you to simply force yourself for a time to do something instead of pick up your phone, bc the phone is literally designed to light up your brain with no effort from you whatsoever and it does in fact rot your brain. It makes literally anything but scrolling on your phone seem difficult and joyless. But if you stop scrolling on your phone all the time, and start like, reading or embroidering or gardening or going for walks, you will eventually find the joy in them once more
I understand and it is true that it is hard to have a life outside work and scrolling but there is not a near future where that won't be the case and you should still live a life. And you won't create a future where that isn't the case if you don't have the confidence and experience and drive to fight for it
