Homestuck is weird bc if you just read the plot synopsis on Wikipedia, it’s overly complicated and makes no sense. But if you read Homestuck from the beginning, it boils you like a frog. You don't even really notice how increasingly convoluted the plot is getting. Several Acts in and youre saying shit like “The doomed-timeline Dave that post-retcon Jade dated is a different version of the Dave that fused with an alien catgirl” like it's the most reasonable thing in the world

"Your ex's abusive dad" leaves out the semi relevant fact that she dated an alternate half bird ghost version of the person whose dad we're talking about. Also he later fuses to a cat themed alien's ghost and becomes nonbinary

i actually disagree! not to bring back a certain children's hospital and say "it's literally color theory" unironically, but... it's literally color theory. both of these color palettes are virtually complimentary and look pretty nice together

not to re-rail a post that OP himself intentionally derailed but I wanted to try out the palettes. The first one is made with the Girl Colors with no changes made to the values/saturation.

i think its ok. 

The second one I tweaked the saturation and values a to my liking. Both are very low effort but as you can see I kinda got into the second one. Anyway I really like orange/purple/yellow as a color scheme so I had fun with this 

i recently noticed that @ jetblackcode created a really interesting tool that lets you see your tumblr stats, one of which is a comparison between the number of notes you've gotten on all your posts to the entire userbase! so, i figured a fun reblog game would be to put in your blog and tag which color you got:

i've colored the buckets on the histogram so that it's easier to tell where you landed on the graph rather than just using numbers ^_^

In the past I’ve tried making a New Alternian font, something comparable to a regular, non-stylized font. 

Font (file) creation is hard.

Here’s something comparable to the Homestuck font which I made today. This isn’t a font file, at least not yet. I just wanted to show it off, get some legit feedback.

Btw what should I name this? Something that includes Alternian in the name. New? courier? 8pt? Something else? I just don’t know.
