88 cal red Thai noodle curry!

Shirataki noodles (10 cals, 200g)

Your chosen veg - I had 110g cauliflower and 6 green beans (38 cals)

Red Thai curry paste (I used my essential Waitrose, really nice strong flavour and spicy for 40 cals)

I rinsed the noodles really well.  Put into a non stick frying pan with the Thai sauce, added the veg, and stir fried for maybe 10 minutes, so the noodles dry out a little. The bowl looks quite small in the pic but it was super big and filling! I couldn’t finish it all and had the rest for dinner. The sauce isn’t very sauce-y it’s more like you get the taste, but you could add some coconut milk if you wanted to make it more creamy!

70 Cal Rice-cakePizza Recipe!

So I was craving some pizza SO BAD yesterday, and when I finally couldn’t take it anymore I decided to TREAT MYSELF with these cute ricecake pizza bites. Enjoy💫

1 rice cake (my ones are 29cal) low cal tomato sauce (like Heinz sun dried tomato sauce; only 40 cals/100 grams, you’ll probs need around 50 so 20 cal) low fat cheese, grated (up to you how much, I use about 20 cals worth) 2 fresh leaves of basil, torn

Put all together, grill for 5 mins.

Tastes so good!

58 cal brownies

  • 30g cocoa powder
  • 25g coconut flour
  • 12g stevia sweetener
  • 200ml coconut milk
  • 170g applesauce
  • 2 eggs
  • A little salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  1. Mix the cacaopowder with the milk and applesauce
  2. Mix all other dry ingredients
  3. Mix everything together
  4. Pour in tray or muffin holder thingies
  5. Bake at 180 degrees Celsius for around 15 minutes but make sure to check
  6. Wait until cool to eat

I hope you guys like it. I know they aren’t too low cal but I’m still trying to make them edible. This makes around 12 brownies depending on how big you make them. If you don’t like the taste of stevia I recommend using less stevia or using honey instead!

Low cal pop tart (23 calories) vs normal pop tart (200 calories) I resisted a b/p by making these and I feel really good. 🍓

Ingredients:

-2 ½ tbsp banana flour =16 cals

-20 grams fresh strawberries =7 cals

-salt (pink or white salt, pink is better for you!) =0

-water =0 cals, duh 🤣

-0 cal cooking spray

Instructions:

~Preheat oven to 350. I did it in the middle of the whole process but you can do it whenever you’d like.~

1: add flour and a pinch of salt to bowl, mix then add water, mix again. Just add water bit by bit until it creates a dough. It’ll be a little bit sticky but that’s normal! It should barely stick though.

2: take out from bowl and play with it in your hands, kneed on counter for about 5 minutes.

3: shape into pop tart looking squares. I tried to use a rolling pin but I’m not very good with it (it kept sticking and I didn’t want to use more flour for it to not stick because that adds a bit more calories but if you don’t care for those few extra calories, use it! Do you. 😌) but I just used my fingers to shape it. I didn’t do it evenly. 😬

4: measure out strawberries, you won’t need much! I used about 4 medium ones. Then microwave it for 30-45 seconds. Mash and mix for about a minute.

5: place parchment paper on pan, place first half of pop tart dough and then place mashed strawberries in the middle, spread evenly. Place other half of dough on top, press down with fork. Then cut little x on top to help it cook. You could do another shape too if you’d like. A heart would be cute haha ☺️

6: put zero calorie cooking spray in a small cup or container. (I used coconut oil cooking spray) brush on top of pop tart. I used the brush that my mom uses to put sauce on ribs and such! Not sure of the name but it works super well.

7: place pop tart in oven, let cook for 10 minutes, take it out and check it! You may need to add a bit more cooking spray since I did. Place for another 10 minutes. Mine cooked for about 16 minutes but I think it could’ve stayed a bit longer so I recommend 18-20 minutes!

8: take out pop tart and let cook for a bit. Peal from parchement paper and place on plate. (My poptart had pieces of parchement paper stick to it a little, no big deal though! It’s easy to peel off)

9: you can warm up more strawberries and add water to make a sauce to dip in, or place on top. It’s quite fragile though! Definitely not like a traditional pop tart and tastes more like a mini pie but still very good! Enjoy! 🍓💕🥧

To make other flavours:

-🍎🥧apple pie pop tart: you can warm up apples and cinnamon to make it a cinnamon apple pop tart!

-🍫🔥s’mores pop tart: add Walden farms zero cal marshmallow dip as filling, mix cocoa powder, splenda and water for chocolate filling! Mix graham crackers (blend them if you can or mash them for a while with hard object) in dough with cinnamon for a graham cracker taste.

-🍌🍰 banana cream pie pop tart: for filling use mashed bananas, vanilla and Walden farms marshmallow zero calorie dip as filling.

I’ll be trying the other flavours soon! 💕

Essentially my bible, most things here are snacks/stop my cravings/meal substitutes etc and are under 100 calories or just over :)

WHY EVERYONE SHOULD CHUG LEMON WATER AT NIGHT:

  • You ate a lot today? Not as much of a problem if you chug lemon water every night. Your metabolism is faster and it will digest all the junk you consumed in a way where you might even LOSE weight.
  • It adds some flavor to that boring old water we drink everyday all the time. You can even spice it up with some herbs, mint, Splenda, etc. (it is sour though)
  • SKIN CARE. I’ve only been using this trick for 4 days and my teenage acne is going away and my skin is gLoWiNg.
  • Fights sickness! Not only does it get rid of a sickness you may currently have but it also prevents more from coming! The antioxidants in lemon water keep germs and viruses away.
  • Intelligence booster. I’m obviously not saying if you chug lemon water every night that you’ll magically turn into Albert Einstein or something, but it really does give you meantal focus and a clear mind.
  • Now I didn’t do a lot of research on this one and it is a bit of a stretch… but lemon water is a cancer fighter 🤷‍♀️
  • Lemon water is a natural and long term breath freshener. Even better than toothpaste, mints, or gum.

Now if that’s not enough reasons to start chugging lemon water at night, I don’t know what is my friends. But if you do start doing this; REMEMBER TO DRINK WITH A STRAW. The acid is bad for your teeth.

New addition to this post: after this became so popular people have been asking questions. I usually use cold water cause it burns more calories and I squeeze half a lemon into the water. I also chug it with a straw so I don’t ruin my teeth.

Another new addition to this post: @ everyone saying it’s “bullshit” or “fake” or whatever, why would I put out “fake” information like this and let it get so popular? This is all real and I’ve done my good research on all of it (except for the cancer part).

El día que de 65 kg bajé a 52 kg

Toda mi vida he estado en sobrepeso.

Toda mi vida me he visto gorda y cada visita al doctor como respuesta había un "ella está pasada de peso" = gorda.

Me han dado apodos cariñosos pero que incluye una imagen de alguien o algo gordo.

Me daba asco verme al espejo. Jamás me vería bien, la talla de la ropa iba ascendiendo y tenía que comprar nueva ropa por estar gorda.

La ansiedad que me produjo comer siempre cuando chica me hizo gorda.

Ahora era grande, y no era linda, para nada. Podían llamarme tierna, parecía una niña gorda y tierna.

Pero ser gordo es un asco. Y cada tarde me deprimí. Dejé de comprarme dulces y así fue mi primer año (2017) oyendo los comentarios de mi familia, halagando a niñas delgadas y muy femeninas.

Pero lo femenino no coincide con los cuerpos obesos como el mío.

2018, y a pesar de ser una adolescente , mi apariencia de niña obesa tierna y pequeña no ayuda a lucir de mi edad. Debería cuidarme más, debería bajar más de peso. Y evité los desayunos, luego de todo, no moriría por ello.

Y descubrí mi cielo, mi paraíso, descubrí que no estaba sola en llegar a mi meta (43 kg) y que podía llegar a lucir muy genial.

Y me determiné en hacerlo, pero algo falló. Almorzar y cenar me daba asco.

Y vomité cada vez que mi cuerpo no quería mas pero no sabía parar. Y mi cuerpo quería comer todo pero jamás terminé de comerlo cuando ya estaba vaciando en el inodoro. Pero no podía vivir sin energía, y el café, agua y chicle fueron mi fuente de energía.

Y cambié de casa temporalmente, y mi figura se veía terrible.

Y no quería comer, no podía.

Y el ayuno de agua y vómito duró mas de una semana. Casi un mes.

En la semana 2 me di cuenta que de 58kg pasé a 54kg y fue increíble. A ése paso, lucir como un ángel terminaría pronto.

Steven Universe Podcast: The Fantasy of Steven Universe

No volume number or episode number was given for this one. The official description:

It’s the last new podcast episode of the season and we asked the cast and Cartoon Network Executive team to submit questions to Steven Universe creator Rebecca Sugar and former Executive Producer Ian Jones-Quartey! They tackle everything from design to wormholes to escapism to advice to your younger self and dreaming big. Then former writers Matt Burnett and Ben Levin sit down with Rebecca to discuss lessons learned, achieving goals, and what they hope people take away from the show. And finally, Kat Morris and Joe Johnston return to answer a last batch of Fan Q&A!

This is a long podcast with a long summary, so as usual I will give you a bulleted list of highlights, followed by a detailed summary.

Highlights:

  • Many of the show’s themes and important elements were there right from the beginning–all the way back to the pilot.
  • Rebecca Sugar comments that she didn’t really learn how to have fun until 2016.
  • Figuring out how to pace the show out and reveal each piece of information at the right time so it could support another later revelation was very exciting to the writers. They had the pieces laid out like a puzzle on their table.
  • Mostly self-contained episodes still gave the audience a piece of information or represented growth for a character. The less “plotty” episodes helped keep the energy up.
  • The Crewniverse knew that their titles were sometimes trollish, but Ben was honestly surprised that people expected apocalyptic happenings for “Last One Out of Beach City.” It was just a Less Than Jake reference.
  • Rebecca really enjoyed getting the chance to “damsel” Greg for the Zoo arc; she really wanted to use a lot of princess tropes, even that one.
  • Viewers should take away from the show messages of compassion, self-love leading to ability to connect with others, ability to understand and listen to others, and opportunities to see themselves as well as to see others.
  • Rebecca has drawn all of Fluorite’s component Gems, but all she’ll say is “they’re fun.”
  • Lars and Lion are not immortal, but they will live for a very long time and have slowed-down lifespans. Kat Morris says Lars may have no sense of taste; that if he eats it’s just for sustenance.
  • Lars has all the same powers as Lion. He can indeed do a sonic blast and make portals and walk on water. They weren’t able to work this into an episode we’ve seen, but Rebecca assures us that Lars will discover his abilities and it will be “really funny.”
  • The Crew had specific voice actors they wanted for the Diamonds. They got who they wanted cast by writing excited letters. Susan Egan’s was particularly weird because she had to play Tiny Floating Whale first.
  • Blue Diamond was the most difficult Diamond to design because her hair was hard to decide on. Rebecca’s influences for her were Martha Graham’s “Lamentation” dance and Fruma Sarah’s ghost from Fiddler on the Roof.
  • Yellow Diamond was mostly directly inspired by Patti LuPone’s performance as Evita.
  • White Diamond was influenced by many old-timey vibes, including Hedy Lamarr in Ziegfeld Girl and the artistry of Nell Brinkley. She had heavy eyelashes and fingernails–lots of design elements they did not incorporate into other characters, so she could adhere to old, “stifling” beauty standards.
  • Rebecca was disappointed that reveals of Pink’s full jester-like outfit got out before we saw it in the show. Her hair was originally higher in early designs, which contributed to her mural having spikier hair.
  • Greg is based almost entirely on Tom Scharpling; Rebecca was comforted by his voice when she had upheavals in her life. There’s also a little bit of inspiration from various Crewniverse dads in him.
  • Another Gem could have a hybrid child like Steven only if they had enough power to do it and the complete commitment to the idea that Pink had.
  • Steven and his “Gem self” are not really separable and can’t exist independently of each other. His Gem half will not remain if his organic half dies. They are one being. He will likely have a very long life because of his Gem powers, but (though the Crew agrees this is grim), he will probably die before the Gems do.
  • The Jade Fusion won’t be in trouble anymore once the Jades come out of their bubbles; in Era 3, the act they were punished for is no longer disallowed. However, the trauma of being isolated and then punished as soon as they felt it was safe to fuse may require some healing. Rebecca assures us they should be able to have the opportunity to heal and be okay.
  • Obsidian definitely has future vision powers. In fact, they’re expanded to the point that the noise is difficult to interpret; very powerful, but difficult to get anything useful with them.
  • Pearl became a more maternal character because of her voice actor, Deedee Magno Hall, being “such a mom.”
  • Zach Callison as Steven was so genuine and professional to work with, and the vibe in the booth with regard to him was closely mirrored in the show.
  • Sometimes Deedee’s or Michaela’s ways of interacting with Zach would influence how Pearl or Amethyst would interact with Steven.
  • People would give lots of space and reverence to Estelle when she was reading her lines, which parallels how the other characters treat Garnet.
  • Only Steven can take anyone or anything through the pink space connected to Lars’s hair and Lion’s mane, but yes, Steven could take Lars through Lion’s mane, and if he stuck his head out, there’d be infinite Larses sticking out of infinite Lars’s hair until he pulled his head back in.
  • Designing new characters requires lots of back and forth and hundreds of drawings. Rebecca asks “why,” not “what”–why are you including something in a character’s design? If it doesn’t contribute to who they are, why is it there?
  • Influences on the show that may have been missed by some fans include G.I. Joe the animated series, Future Boy Conan, and Mr. Bug Goes to Town.
  • In response to Deedee requesting a fusion between Pearl and any of Rebecca’s childhood favorite cartoons, she suggests maybe either Bart or Detective Conan, then says she’ll have to think about it and get back to Deedee.
  • Advice Rebecca Sugar might have given her younger self was that it would be okay and she’d get to tell the story she wanted to tell–but also that she should eat, drink water, and exercise.
  • One profound thing Rebecca learned while working on the show was that she can be out and bisexual regardless of who she’s with, and that it DOES matter.
  • One profound thing Ian learned while working on the show was that the story you want to tell doesn’t have to be constrained by the medium–and your fantasy story isn’t necessarily someone else’s fantasy. You can tell your story.

Some fanart for the latest slew of Steven Universe episodes!

Gosh the past month or so has been a wild ride with all those episodes. I drew a few of these when I only had a peek at designs without color, so if they’re off it’s because I took my best crack at it with a limited color pallet. 

~ VEGAN | Chocolate Mug Cake Recipe ~

40 calories | 1,5g Protein | 0,5g Fats | 9g Carbs

Time needed: 5 minutes

What you need:

~ 1 tbsp flour

~ ½ tsp baking powder

~ 1 tsp unsweetened cocoa

~ 1 tbsp light or vanilla soy milk

~ Sweetener to taste

How to:

1. Mix all the dry ingredients together in a cup, then add the milk and sweetener and mix until it’s smooth.

2. Microwave the cup until the cake starts to rise, mostly 1-2 minutes, it depends on the microwave so keep an eye on it!

Tip: Not a fan of chocolate? Use vanilla extract and make a vanilla cake instead. Want something fancier? Switch choco for vanilla, milk for a bit lowfat quark and add some sliced strawberries. Get creative!

Especially in smoothies they are often used to get that creamy texture, but ot liking bananas shouldn’t keep anyone from not drinking smoothies, so here are 5 smoothie recipes that do not use bananas! ♥
