world went downhill when tea parties stopped being something everyone did. i will invite people over and make tiny sandwiches and scones and little desserts and whatnot. break out the weird tea basket i have. this is necessary. and nonoptional
it's different than having people for like lunch or dinner because finger foods specifically feel more shareable. and i love sharing food. like everyone gets to try everything type thing. and it's just fun. white bread with cream cheese and cucumber and dill make people so insane for no reason. impossible to fuck up. just a means of hanging out. a party! but there's tea involved. fucking awesome both conceptually and through execution
