Dig the Brig

Dedicated to classic Doctor Who's beloved Brigadier (later General) Sir Alistair Gordon Lethbridge-Stewart, and the talented and handsome actor who played him, Nicholas Courtney.

With appearances by Roger Delgado as the Master, and other classic Who favorites. And occasional moments of random nonsense. Note: If you have ever posted anything concerning the Brigadier or Nicholas Courtney--no matter how long ago it was--I am very likely to reblog it at some point. My apologies.
About me:

These are some of the supplementary photos Paul and I created for the background of Doctor Who: Fade Away. The idea here was that Doctor was to meet the Brigadier in a pub that was the traditional watering hole of UNIT members and before that military personnel in general. So with that in mind some of the photos weren’t necessarily Doctor Who based. Just British military based. So we have a chap in fatigues. A nondescript UNIT soldier. Liz Shaw from her P.R.O.B.E days. Jo Grant and Cliff Jones. Sarah Jane and The Doctor. Harry Sullivan. Nieuport Nie.17 Fighter plane.

“‘Ere, wait a minute.  I’ve got a week’s worth of food in there.  And booze for the guv’nor.  Am I supposed to go back and tell them you don’t want it?  They’ll think you’re barmy.” The Brigadier to the rescue!  He disguises himself as a delivery man, and makes his way into Stanmoor Prison with a van full of soldiers.

The Brigadier and the Time He Quelled a Prison Riot with a Handful of Soldiers and a Cockney Accent.

How to be a badass:

1.)  Leave yourself open

2.) Narrowly miss being shot

3.) Respond by hitting your target with cheetah-like reflexes

(The Mind of Evil)

The only reason the Brig didn't take back the entire prison by himself with one hand tied behind his back was because he didn't want to show off.
