Wanted to share this earlier but here's a little animated tribute to @PikuNikuGame, the wackiest, weirdest and most wonderful game of 2019 for me. Hope to see more soon.
Not quite where I want to be yet, but it's nice to see some progress. Gonna try to work a lot harder from now on.
I also have a twitter now! Hope to see you guys there too. @niqle_dev Cheers everyone <3
Made a little game for the GMTK Jam!
A dodgeball game, 1 ball that you can upgrade as you go through waves of fantasy monsters!
There’s a very nice progression through upgrades!
Playable in browser! Dodgeball Fantasy <full disclosure: a fix in that.
Original Entry & Rating: Same game, will just crash eventually
Check it out and leave a rating! (or comment, comments are nice!)
Here’s a high score for the Challenge Accepted types!
If Anyone else made an Entry let me know!
It's dodgeball but you can upgrade the shit out of the ball and that's when shit gets real. Recommended.
Made a spooky game where you can only see ONE tile ahead with my good friend @asheraryam for the GMTK Game Jam on Itch.
Neither of us are sound designers which is probably the most important aspect of a good horror game but I think we managed to pull it off.
Please check it out and leave us a rating!
Also if anyone else here has made a game for the jam I’d love to play it.

Wonder Wickets Gameplay Trailer #2 - The big one!
Finally #WonderWicketsWednesday!
There's something very fulfilling about watching a game grow from start to finish. Now I can finally indulge in my obsession for Mini Golf games and this one is just oozing with Nintendo-level charm and polish.
Evolution of Sticky Pigeons, the game I made over the weekend with friends. If you haven’t seen it yet you can try it out here!
In Sticky Pigeons, nobody wins! A fun little game I made over the weekend with some friends at a Game Jam. The theme was balance so… pigeons tipping over precariously perched cars and their victims into the abyss. Fun right?

Let’s take a look at some numbers.
This is Unity Ads’ eCPM or "effective cost per thousand impressions." per country. Think of it as a fee you can earn for every 1000 Ads your game can dish out.
For example, if 1000 Americans viewed an Ad in your game, you, as a developer, would earn $7.44. Keep in mind though, eCPM fluctuates A LOT and can rise and fall by tens of dollars on a daily basis.
Now let’s take a look at some Fat Bunny Data.
This graph compares two data points, Number of Players that Watch Ads and the Total Number of Ads Watched per day.
So according to the data on June 25, roughly 750 players watched just over 2000 Ads which roughly works out to 2 - 3 Ads per player, which earned us between $6 - $12 that day. Not bad for an early access game but not enough to run a company with. Yet.
As a game developer looking to generate revenue through Ads, your goal ultimately is to maximize the number of Ads being watched by motivating players with engaging gameplay and tantilizing rewards. Anyways, I hope this was informative and prompts further questions.
tl;dr yes
Fat Bunny is a game my friends and I have been working on that I haven’t really talked about much on this blog.
I didn’t want to bother people too much with the ultra casual mobile games I’m making, you know? Though, it did get featured on the Play Store Early Access section. We got over 10,000 downloads in the last month which was pretty cool.
A message to game developers, reach out to the Play Store so they can consider featuring your games. I also recommend adding a feedback button on the main menu because we’ve been getting a surprising amount of feedback and fan mail which has been amazing.
Anyways, Fat Bunny is nearly complete and I look forward to sharing cooler looking games and doodles in the future.
I hope you guys like looking at game concepts as much as I like doodling them.
This is a simple game about throwing cute shapes down a mountain to see how far you can go.
It’s a lot more fun than it looks, I swear.
Our studio's programmer showed me a tank sprite he was working on so I decided to share the importance of references. For the both of us.
