Politics of Pokemon Part 1

Regions United

Much like the United Nations this organization as the link between all regions of the world. However unlike the United Nations the RU has the ability to exercise taxation as it operates both the regional professor and pokemon centers allowing citizens of the world to free healthcare. The organization is made up of both retired regional and mobile professors from the zekrom confederation and reshiram federation.

Regional & Mobile Professors

To start a pokemon professor is one research the world we inhabit and the various creatures who live among us. However another job of a regional professor is to watch over a region’s new trainers. By this we mean to watch over the various families and to make sure the future generations to grow and thrive in the world. Also a note of warning to all future professor hopefuls. Please be aware that most marriages between professors never last. As regional professor so rarely leave thier region and mobile professors require them to move from region to region for very long periods of time. Marriage between mobile professors is the most likely to survive but still difficult to maintain as their work may take them to different regions.

Zekrom Confederation

Founded by the Hero of Ideals from the Unova Region who wanted a multi-regional idealistic world. The Confederation includes Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, & Kalos. Sevii, formerly known as Kanto, has returned to the confederation after Empress Sevii regained control from Team Rocket. Alola has recently begun to enter the confederation after the new regional professor has added a new pokemon league. Features of a zekrom confederation include unique cultures, pokemon trainers, pokeballs, pokemon gyms or trials(Alola), and pokemon league. Pokeballs are made from specialized fruit known as apricorns gifted from Zekrom after completing a trial and outfited in the Pokeball factory. This unique tool allow one to convert one’s molecules inside the Pokeball where they are transported into the most realistic virtual world.

Reshiram Federation

Founded by the Hero of Truth from the Unova Region who wanted a singular united region to protect people pokemon. The federation includes regions such as Fiore, Almia, & Oblivia. Features of a reshiram federation include the ranger union, pokemon rangers, and their various tools including the capture stylist. The capture stylist is a unique tool that spray a specialized gas that relaxes the wild pokemon to temporarily obey the ranger as well as recently that summon various legendaries. These were gifted by Reshiram to the Ranger Union with said legendary allying with ranger due reshiram’s unique gift of befriending always telling the truth but never harshly.

*Why the Rod Weapon as a Hoshido Noble

The reason I believe Corrin chose the healing rod as his third weapon is basically to prove that not all Nohrians are bad by choosing to heal rather than hurt. This can be seen by the fact that the first thing Corrin does after choosing to side with Hoshido to heal the wounded at Fort Jinya. This would show to Takumi and others who have a negative view of Nohr that not all Nohrians are bad including Corrin. This in turn leads...

*Where did Corrin get the Hoshido Noble outfit

It is my believe that after Corrin has proven to Takumi that he was not bad by saving Takumi’s life. Afterwards I believe he would have asked his retainer Oboro to sew something that would show that he was sorry and finally welcomed him to Hoshido.

*Why was Corrin chosen to lead the army

The reason before Hinoka shows up is obvious as Corrin would have been the eldest royal. After Hinoka shows I believe that she would have no interest in leading as well as Corrin respecting that he was a chosen one. Takumi would have finally accepted Corrin as a brother and respected Hoshido’s culture of him being the older one and being the chosen one. As for Ryoma I believe he would have asked Corrin to lead the army as it would be a gray relieve off of his shoulders as the future king of Hoshido. He would most likely offer assistance and wisdom if Corrin had asked. A for the reason why he would chosen him is due to the fact that he lead most of his family and their reatainers into Nohr without hiding while Ryoma only made it in by himself and with him being undercover.

*Why the Tome Weapon as Nohr Noble

I believe it was her mission to help transform Nohr from the outside that lead to study tomes. She began to study tomes as dark mages and sorcerers do not have a lot respect. This is due to the fact that the Nohrians fear the power of the Mage Tribe with the soldier’s uniform having no armor so that they would have a weakness. In Corrin and Leo’s support we can see that Corrin asks to learn battle strategy from him but she could have also asked to learn to become more versatile on the battlefield. However during their first lesson Corrin’s cape caught fire when practicing basic fire magic. Camilla was furious and made sure to teach Corrin along with Leo. Elise would soon join in the lessons to learn magic with Xander and Azura watching.

*Where did Corrin get the Nohr Noble outfit

It is my believe that after Corrin sided with Nohr. The Nohrian siblings decided to ask Jakob to make an outfit based on their outfits. With Jakob asking if they are sure that is what they want to which they replied yes. When revealing it to everyone shocks Jakob based them on Camilla’s outfit. However Corrin said she loved and to not worry about the low cleavage as she the scales of a dragon. Felicia with the aid of Flora would have made the outfit to shock of everyone on how flawless it was.

*Why was Corrin chosen to lead the army

I believe Corrin was assigned by King Garon to lead the army after her many successes. Xander could not lead as he was next in line for King. Camilla could not lead because she was the most powerful warrior in Nohr. Leo could not lead as he was too gifted a strategist to lose in battle. Elise could not lead due to her being a healer and too inexperienced on the battlefield. Azura was too much of an outsider to trust who can lead an army which just leaves Corrin.

The Story of Valla

Not much has been explained about the history of the nation of Valla. However I found something interesting in the fact that in the country of Nohr there exists a Dragon Gate which until Fire Emblem Echoes Shadows of Valentia has only existed in one other place being Elibe on Valor. As many Fire Emblem fans it is my theory that the dragons who escaped through the Dragon’s Gate in Elibe to the one in Nohr. Here twelve of the dragons would go on to establish Nohr, Hoshido, Izumo, Kohga, Mokushu, Nestra, Notre Sagesse, Flame Tribe, Ice Tribe, Wind Tribe, Mage Tribe, & Terra Tribe. While the thirteenth dragon would go on to establish an underground pocket kingdom with floating islands neither a problem for flying dragons but a problem for humans. The bridges between islands and the lake portal would be for the Manakete who do not have the ability to turn into dragons. Once gathered the Manakete from the continents of both Elibe & the new continent, which I will be discussing the name of later, and placed a curse on everyone should one reveal the name of their new would be turned into foam. The curse was placed for of another human and Manakete war after the one in Elibe. This would also explain why no manaketes appear in Fire Emblem Fates due to the mass migration of the manaketes from the new continent to Valla.
