Is there any reason you haven't read Carry On, out of curiosity?

There’s no particular reason as to why I haven’t read Carry On. It might be a combination of a lack of interest in the story currently and some negative reviews from trusted friends of mine. For that my copy of Carry On sits on my bookshelf unopened and covered in a thin layer of dust. (hopefully I’ll get to it one day)

Do you like any Rainbow Rowell books?

Yes, I do like Rainbow Rowell books. I’ve read all of her novels (adult and young adult) with the exception of Carry On. She is a fantastic writer but my favorite would have to be Fangirl due to how relatable the main character was. Some of the insecurities and problems she had during her first year of college were some of my insecurities and problems I had to deal with too during my first year of university.

Ah I love your blog so much And for the questions thing 22,27, & 38?

Thank you so much!

22. Where would you like to travel?

JAPAN.

27. Do you wish your skin was lighter or darker?

I’m perfectly content with the color of my skin. However, I do wish for skin that isn’t as dry as my skin is.

38. Describe your dream girl/guy?

Ideally, he would taller than me (above 170 cm), has a wicked sense of humor and can make me laugh, likes to read, compassionate, doesn’t mind trying new things, and most of all loves me for me (that’s what really matters).

12. What are your 5 favorite songs right now?

Currently, I’ve been listening to Wonderland by Jessica (tho her English version is even better imo), Butter-Fly by Wada Kōji (seriously brings back so many childhood memories but I also blame Digimon tri for giving me so many feels), Excuse Me by AOA (never been a fan but the song is catchy), Whatta Man by I.O.I (another catchy song), and finally Senbonzakura by Wagakki Band (love love love). Yes, I realize it’s all asian music but that’s currently what I’ve been into.(^.^)That being said, I’m open to all genres of music. I listen to a lot of alternative, rock, pop, electronic and ost music if I’m in the mood for it. As with books, if you have any songs you would like to share, send them my way. I love finding new music to download and listen to.

21. What are you bad habits?

I’m sure I have a lot that I can’t think of at the moment, but the ones that come to mind immediately include slouching, hoarding, using my electronic devices at night, and procrastinating.

Any book recommendations?

Yes, I do. I read some pretty interesting books last year so I want to share the love. In no particular order (they are all great books), we have

Red Rising by Pierce Brown,

The Song of Achilles by Madeline Miller,

Boy Toy by Barry Lyga,

The Wrong Side of Right by Jenn Marie Thorne,

A Little Life by Hanya Yanagihara,

The Foxhole Court by Nora Sakavic.

I saw you read Name of the Wind! It's my all-time favorite book, and the fan base is amazing. The next one, the Wise Man's Fear, is even better imo. I'm excited for you to read it! He also wrote a short story that's within a book called Rogues and a really short book called the Slow Regard of Silent Things (it's in Auri's perspective 😍). Anyway, happy New Years and happy reading!

Happy New Years! (even if it’s a little late) Yes, Name of the Wind is one of my all-time favorite reads to this day. A close second would have to be Pierce Brown’s Red Rising Trilogy. I’m glad to be part of the fan base too. I keep saying I will get to Wise Man’s Fear but the wait for the third book keeps holding me back. I don’t know if I can wait after finishing Wise Man’s Fear (honestly when is he going to give us updates). Who knows, maybe I will get to it this year. I’m currently reading The Lies of Locke Lamora because Pat himself said that it’s better than NotW (not sure how that’s possible though). Anyways, I’m glad to have met another NotW fan.

HELLO!! first off, I love your blog it's amazing❤ and you're VERY LOVELY! also have you read the Matched, Crossed, Reached series?

HI! *waves hand enthusiastically*

Thank you for your kind comments. *blushes*

You are equally amazing and lovely for saying that. Now to answer your question, I tried reading Matched but ended up not finishing it. The plot didn’t appeal to me and the characters didn’t stand out amongst a bandwagon of other dystopian characters that were (in my opinion) better developed and more interesting at that time.

Have you read The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater I love it

Yes, I have read The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. I loved all the books except for the last one in the quartet, The Raven King. I had some issues with how Maggie ended the story and how she handled a specific character. Other than that, I am all aboard the PYNCH ship (haha).
