Michelle Obama's great-great-grandmother's monument vandalized.

Michelle Obama’s great-great grandmother was born a slave in South Carolina and earlier this week, Ava DuVernay sent out an inspiring tweet with a photo of the memorial.

That’s how I saw it.  I knew Michelle Obama was descended from slaves, as most Black folks are, but I didn’t know there was a memorial.  Now that memorial has been toppled over and has a crack because White Amurkkka can’t stand to see us have anything nice to be proud of.
