Hannibal (2013-2015)
what do you mean you "understand Hannibal Lecter"? He literally abused Will for 3 seasons.. he's a bad person!
I think, till this day, Hannibal nbc might be the most beautiful and gay thing I’ve watched. It is unmatched. Whenever something from this show pops into my head I’m just like, holy fuck, that really happened.
Harry and Draco has some ✨~big news~✨ to share with the family.
i love reading about the same couple falling in love over and over in different scenarios and universes. quite endearing to be honest.
came home drunk last night and got way too excited to see my cat
two characters who understand each other like no one else does and therefore hurt each other like no one else can
its crazy how some names last forever and some dont. we had marcus antonius and guys today are still named mark or anthony. we had ten million english kings named charles or james or william and we still have those. hannibal was a carthaginian general and it couldve last longer as a name if it wasnt for hannibal the cannibal. but no guys are named gaius or octavius anymore. so many names are now considered old people names bc theyre not popular anymore. how do names go out of style or last so long like what the hell
Me, couple years back, watching people send each other pdfs after an author deleted their work: how do people just have downloaded fics lying around?
Me, now, having learned the lesson the hard way, with my ao3 bookmarks fully backed up offline on an external hard drive: oh
beyond tired of media portraying that good couples who love each other dont argue like yeah we do. we argue and disagree over things to help find an understanding and push each other to be better because we know we can be, not cause we hate each other
Feel free to ignore my little rant it's mostly for my sake more than starting/continuing a conversation.
I agree. And let's add that even "healthy" couples can have toxic moments because we learn from those who raised us and the places we grow up in. Some things need to be unlearned, and people can and do grow and change unlike how many people seem to believe.
What's ACTUALLY dangerous and toxic for a mindset are the fanpol who go around teaching that people who are anything less than perfect are toxic, sick, and dangerous. And I don't have any idea where they got this idea from at all, but if they think that people have to be perfect to be safe, happy, and deserving of love, it's no wonder they hate others so much and they probably hate themselves deeply. Why? Because it's physically impossible to meet the standards they're setting.
People I met for a few moments that live in my head forever.
