getting super hyped about new music then realizing this might be the last album we ever get from one direction

Infinity-Larry.

Since all Larry everything is my motto. I feel like Infinity is a Larry song. Here’s why:

So, the only thing Louis sings alone is this part:

Louis:

And now I’m One step, closer to being, Two steps far from you When everybody wants you, Everybody wants you

Let’s look at the first two sentences. I feel they’re about babygate:

“One step, closer to being” Someone is doing something to be closer to someone, aka Louis putting upp with babygate to be closer to (a coming out with) Harry. But then comes the second line, after a mini-pause:

“Two steps far from you” The thing ment to bring closeness has the opposite effect then intended, aka babygate seeming to put a final stop to Larry-rumors (in the eye of the public - which, honestly, it sort of hasn’t, but it was the plan by the PR-team).

Now the second part of Louis’s verse:

“When everybody wants you, everybody wants you”. This is sort of a continuation on the first part, at the same time someone is trying to be close but failing - the other person is very sought after by others. Aka, it seems to outsiders like Harry is singel. And let’s be honest, everybody wants him.

Next comes Harry, answering Louis (pls kill me):

Harry:

How many nights did it take to count the stars? That’s the time it would take to fix my heart, Oh, baby I was there for you, All I ever wanted was the truth Yeah yeah. How many nights have you wished someone would stay? Lied awake only hoping they’re okay? I’ve never counted all of mine, If I tried I know it would feel like infinity

This too is just jam-packed with Larry to me. Let’s break it down:

“How many nights did it take to count the stars?  That’s the time it would take to fix my heart,” This person is heartbroken, and it would take a long, long time to fix it again, aka it breaks Harrys heart that Louis has to go through with babygate and all the nasty rumors bc of it. AND it will take a long time to set it straight, until Bri-Bri pops the baby that is.

“Oh, baby I was there for you,  All I ever wanted was the truth” This seriously speaks for itself, don’t it? Harry is there for Louis and all he wants is for the truth to be out.

“How many nights have you wished someone would stay? Lied awake only hoping they’re okay? I’ve never counted all of mine, If I tried I know it would feel like infinity”  The litteral mening of this part is clear, someone wishes to be with someone else. It could be in reference to a few things Larry, but mainly i believe it’s about how all their stunting has forced them appart so many times. We know how dependent they are on each other and to be separated just for a few nights can be though if it’s not a voluntary separation. And also, they’re hoping the other is okay, because they know how painful the stunting and lying is.

Soooo, yes. These are my Larry-thoughts about Infinity. What do you all think?
