Two weeks after returning from the world tournament, Miguel opens his locker to find an envelope with his name. Inside are a small letter and two pre-sale tickets to senior prom.

Miguel opens the letter which was written by Tory.

“Hey, man. I know Robby and I can’t undo what we did at junior prom last year, but at least this way you and Samantha will have a better night to look back on. Don’t worry. This time, we won’t be there. With that said though, whatever happens this time is on you. P.S.: no refunds.”

Miguel smiles to himself.

Three weeks after Silver was exposed, Miguel, Demetri, Hawk, Robby, Sam, Bert, and Tory were all helping Johnny turn the old unit in Reseda that was used for Cobra Kai into a public Eagle Fang dojo.

While preparing red and black paint for the walls, Miguel realized something.

“Hey, Bert.”

“What’s up, man?

“I don’t think we ever thanked you.”

“For what?”

“You helped us get Stingray to begin to atone.”

Bert felt his friend’s gratitude. “If anything, I oughta be thanking you. That cafeteria fight is what got me into karate.”

Bert extends his fist and Miguel bumps it.

For amnesty week: Missed connections

Johnny and Robby were among many with missed connections. Both have done things they regret, but it’s all tied to the father walking out on his son.

They can’t rewind time to undo the damage, but they can still find a way to move forward together.

Both of them got into martial arts as a way to escape from everything, but now it may just help them bond as they should have years ago.

Following their showdowns with Silver and his crew, the duo decided they were long overdue for a camping trip.

Slowly but surely, they were finally mending.

Prompt: amulet

The octopus held a lot of meaning for Miguel and Sam, but now it meant even more now that it was in the form of an amulet.

With another tournament approaching, Sam looks at herself in the mirror. Ever since she reconciled with Miguel, she hasn’t taken off the golden octopus necklace he gifted her.

At this point, she didn’t care if she was gonna participate or not. She let the 51st all-valley tournament go to her head and for a while it cost her relationship with Miguel.

Above all else, she would be fighting for both herself and him.
