Daryl showed me this the other day and I couldn’t help but notice just how well sculpted the the ass is on the suit. Did they make it to fit the FreeBooty perfectly? Did they have to bring him in one day and make a plaster cast of his ass (plASSter) so they could make the suit butt fit him perfectly? The other side looks suspiciously well sculpted too… did they need to get a plaster cast of his dick as well?

[awed whisper] My most significant contribution to this fandom shall forever be the word plasster.

happy (now quite belated) resonance cascade day! LAMBDA CORE: a half-life charity zine is now available on gumroad!

bringing together 33 illustrators and 3 writers, this zine was a labor of love made to celebrate the release of half-life: alyx. it was, in fact, worth the wait. :)

all proceedings will go to the Autistic Self-Advocacy Network, the Organization for Women in Science for the Developing World, and the World Health Organization COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.

we’ll be collecting donations up until june 5th, and donating our funds on june 12th

if you want to check out some amazing half-life fanwork and support three great causes, please consider purchasing the zine!

reblogs appreciated!

Sneak peaks of the two Godzilla vs. Kong graphic novel tie-ins from Legendary Comics, from a just-uploaded WonderCon panel. Neither has a title yet. The Godzilla-centric one is written by Greg Keyes (Godzilla: King of the Monsters novelization) and illustrated by Drew Johnson (Godzilla: Aftershock). No plot details to speak of, except that Scylla will return. The Kong-centric one is written by Marie Anello (“Fifteen Minutes or Less” in the Shout Out anthology) and illustrated by Zid (Skull Island: The Birth of Kong). Main character is an F-35 pilot who looks to be clashing with Camazotz. Icarus Tigris, a beastie cut from Kong: Skull Island, will show up, along with Houston Brooks.

Legendary Comics is also going to picture its first picture book. It’s about Kong,  illustrated by Nidhi Chanani (Pashmina), and written by Kiki Thorpe (The Never Girls). No art to show, as they just signed their contracts.

Hey all! Last post for tonight. I hope you can read it okay. It talks about Rain Fall’s reservation, the Van der Linde Gang hideout being abandoned, the Trolley accident, Evelyn Miller, Guarma, the Snake oil man trying to scam people. Don’t forget to buy tar soap or their teething powders. A lot of these ads are historically accurate, btw. Interestingly enough - we can’t get into Blackwater until the Epilogue or by cheats; so it’s funny that the Blackwater Ledger is the source of news.
