Trying different sketching brushes, I kinda like it but the texture on it makes the filling tool hard to use.
I've seen a few of your tutorials, I just wanted to ask how many layers you work with when you shade? Youre ambient occlusion is so satisfying, I hope I can get to that level 😭<3 thank you for reading!
Hmm I'm not sure what Is an ambient occlusion in my style, I can see what it is in games.
I usually have one layer for the core shadow of each color, but If I'm doing a soft edges style I usually merge that layer before blending the shadow and light or paint the shadow on the same layer right away.
