I’ve been at work and basically did a 10 hour day so I’ve been trying to catch up since I got home. I’m a little tired too. Actually very tired.

I like that he is wearing that shirt again. I like the message and he’s chosen to wear it before on other marches and important moments. I like the strap too, and I think they’re brave statements by him. I know the cause is important to him. He’s not wearing rainbow colours, but the message seems clear.

Unfortunately he’s got the beard with him as usual, which can be argued, counters his message, but of course she’s going to be there as nothing will change while he’s closeted so we are effectively stuck with her. That way he can safely appear at a pride march because his beard is there making him safely straight. I don’t like it because it looks like can’t support the cause without looking like he’s straight which others the lgbt community and gives fans another opportunity to drag him over the coals.

He will absolutely get called out as baiting because it can be interpreted that way. He may be called out for playing both sides of the fandom by others. I hate that this game has been played out for years on repeat.

Personally I wish he would avoid these types of events until he can attend without her and her circus in tow because with them it never feels like It’s about the cause. It feels like posturing. At least 🦊 had her camera so D’s straight fans were reassured everything was ok. M and her friends attendance at these events always seem to be an opportunity for some IG posts about how woke they are rather than being actually supportive of any cause.

Back to the t-shirt and bag, I think clear statements, but dragged down her and her 🤡.

I’d guess the rally was a demand not a choice. Because they know its harmful to him. So I take the gear as a strong statement that he’s there but he’s going to speak in the limited manner avaliable about who he is. Again not the choice of someone that wants this.

@ccstillgoingstrong I agree with you, but we know how it looks. I stg his team just love controversy as a way to keep her relevant.

I find it very endearing the choice to bring a video camera, as for me, you do not go to a march to protest, to ask for the respect of human rights, to demand to end police brutality against black people and to support the LGBTQ+ community in this extremely difficult time and with a pandemic that is threatening to collapse the world economy and that it’s currently killing an endless (and relentless) number of people all over the world, by bringing a video camera to film your friends having a blast, dressed like a clown. Turning the whole thing in a playground.

Maybe I’m wrong but it looks to me, very move the gang does is aimed to create controversy and raise noise around them. At it’s always the same trick with them. Used and abused. None of them has anything to offer more value than this. Us, D, controversy, it’s all they have and who cares if they have to use more important issues, they will do it anyway. Because they are in what they believe, and besides this, they believe in nothing.

D can’t avoid this, the lack of power his life right now, can’t be more blatant but I’m not going to ramble in his defense when we all know there are people that will never be ok with whatever he does and will jump at his throat no matter what he does. He doesn’t have to explain himself to them. He only has to keep going with is life. His time to teach a lesson will come.

All of this.

Every accessory of D’s is more interesting than they are.

Moving on is allowed if there’s nothing you’re okay with anymore. Paying attention to more than the mistakes, whether legit or often twisted until they become mistakes, is allowed as well.

Hi Tumblr world!!!! Hope those of you experiencing this polar vortex are staying warm!!!

I just wanted to apologize for my negatively lately. I think there are times where I seriously just can’t handle watching this anymore and now that awards season is essentially over, I just want to wake up in a world where D is free.

I admit the whole 90s night at the strip joint set me off more than it should. But I’m tired of watching a good person being excessively used in the manner he is. He won FOUR major awards, yet, instead of promoting him in a positive light and continuing his quest to conquer the world, he’s backed to being chained to the piano, being viciously and carelessly used as a promotional machine for that bar and that woman. As talented as he is, as long as he continues to be used as a show pony, he will never reach his full potential. The 5 bar stalkers that this is servicing are not helping him to solidify his spot on the A list. His manager doesn’t know how to do anything but make him a living, breathing advertisement. And that woman completely changes his attitude and persona and has the ability to destroy him emotionally.

So I have to question. When does this end? How much more could she possibly be entitled to? She’s had FOUR major awards ceremonies to play dress up where she was held out as his fiancée and a person of importance. She has been showcased in front of MILLIONS. There are countless mentions of the bar in publications and interviews. Her picture is EVERYWHERE.  She stole an entire year from him. She’s overshadowed his career and hijacked his life. How is she entitled to this? What did she give him aside from being female that warranted the extreme pay out? She treated him horribly, failed to hide her real relationship and instead flaunted the real bf for YEARS.  Yet, somehow she found a way to insert herself into what should have been the best year of D’s life, preventing him from coming out, not allowing him to take his actual partner, or even his mom to the awards, and forcing him to exacerbate the lies and dig himself into a bigger hole.  Further, this past year has absolutely put d’s health at risk, and anyone arguing this point is deluding themselves. It is evident in the extreme weight loss and fatigue he constantly suffered last year.

Remember I too am just a fan. I don’t know how this ends. I have a strong opinion, but I too have the voices in my head that occasionally make me doubt myself. I am overly invested and I’m well aware of this fact. I fear for d if the wrong decision is made. I think it would destroy his life, and I don’t think that’s being overly dramatic.

And Tuesday night, the D I’ve watched fight didn’t appear to be there. He looked lost.  And it scared me.

But then he came right back yesterday fighting. It may not seem like a lot. He did the obligatory pap pics absolutely intended to promo t/in c/an b/rothers. But with one sweatshirt, he reminded us of his truth.

Despite what team shit wants you to believe, 4 years later and he still loves g/lee. And b /laine. And more, k/laine. Dalton is after all where they met, shared their first kiss, and started to fall in love. Add it was a reminder of the person he rarely speaks about but that he loves more than anyone. A person who continues to remind us constantly that he’s standing firmly by d’s side.

I still believe d is fighting with every fiber of his being. I still believe he will win. And in time, I hope people will see that he spent the last 13 months ensuring that legally he could walk away and never look back.

I hope that I’m right and again ask you all to continue to pray to all the deities that may exist that he crosses that finish line and soon.

So please forgive me when I stumble and know that I still stand firmly in D’s corner and continue to be one of his biggest cheerleaders.

Earning his first Emmy nomination hasn’t gone to Darren Criss’ head — even if he’s also the one to beat.

“It was fun to live out my old-age rivalry between me and Tony,” says Criss playfully, early one morning from the Made Hotel in New York. Tony is Antonio Banderas, and both actors are up for an Outstanding Lead Actor Emmy award in a limited series this year. “No,” he quickly adds, “I’m kidding!”

The 31-year-old actor shows up to the tropical-themed rooftop venue Good Behavior in pink shorts, a T-shirt bearing Giorgio Armani’s face — obtained through a gift bag from an event — and a drawstring gym bag emblazoned with the University of Michigan, his alma mater. He’s a “Glee” alum, and his musical theater background is quickly apparent — he launches into a short rendition of “Love Me Do,” which he’s also been singing for his driver all morning. The easygoing class of 2009 grad is nominated for his portrayal of serial killer Andrew Cunanan in “The Assassination of Gianni Versace: American Crime Story.” He’s favored to win in the limited series category, in which he’s the second actor of Asian descent to be nominated; like Cunanan, Criss is half Filipino.

As a whole, the show picked up 18 nominations across categories, including for best limited series. When asked about his individual nomination, Criss, a true team player, expresses his gratitude before passing the ball back to his team.

“I feel like the nomination is this absurdly generous bonus to something that I’ve already been excited by for quite some time now,” he says. “My general attitude toward life is I hope for everything but expect nothing. But when you’re playing for the Warriors, there’s a good chance you’ll make it to the championships. And I’m not saying I’m Steph Curry, but when you’re on [showrunner] Ryan Murphy’s team, it seems more palpable than ever,” he continues. (Criss previously starred on “Glee,” another Murphy creation, although they didn’t directly work together.) “I feel like I’ve already won the lottery.”

Criss has been riding the wave with his “American Crime Story” cohorts, which includes Penélope Cruz, Ricky Martin and Édgar Ramírez; all three are also nominated, for best supporting roles.

He may not be starstruck by his castmates, but he is in awe of his co-nominees — Banderas, Benedict Cumberbatch, Jeff Daniels, John Legend and Jesse Plemons.

“The only real freak-out moment is seeing who else is nominated — they’re all people who I have very specific fan relationships with — people who I’ve experienced their work in a theater or concert hall, or at home watching on my couch going, ‘Goddamn, I love this person.’ So that’s cool. I have very distinct memories of each person taking part in something that I really was wowed by. So to be in the same brethren is pretty wild.”

When did he get married??????

Hey, guys! I’m opening up commissions because I need a little help ...

My 14 year-old-son was born with Cerebral Palsy. Due to late intervention during a difficult delivery, he had a stroke in utero, and was born hemipalegic on his right side. Use of that side is limited. He requires a DAFO on his leg, surgeries throughout his life, as well as therapy. This is all well-documented, and because of his disability, he receives SSI benefits. However, due to a clerical error and misinformation given to SSI by a public school counselor, his benefits are in danger of being discontinued because SSI deems him “cured”. There is no cure for Cerebral Palsy! And for a little boy who is in as much daily pain as he is, being told that he’s “cured” is heartbreaking. His benefits are necessary to cover the things that he needs to handle his day to day life.  We can’t fight this without a lawyer, but many lawyers we’ve spoken to won’t take cessation cases. Because of this, we’re on our third extension. We finally found a lawyer, but they need their fees paid up front, and within 30 days before we go to court. Our case is being tried on May 2. We don’t have the money upfront, and, at the moment, I have no clue where we are going to get it, as I am not well enough myself to take on any new clients. Please, if you are willing to give, even the smallest amount will help. It would be devastating to our family if my son lost his necessary benefits, which include his health coverage, due to a clerical error. I’m opening up commissions. I’m not sure who specifically you are referring to. But there are quite a few. Not sure what the incentive was. Money or access is my guess. Team Idiocy would do anything to shut this community down.

I honestly do not know who you can spend time here and then praise her. Because the overwhelming facts support that m/iarren is nothing but a large pile of mostly poorly executed lies. And that shectreats him deplorably. Add how closely ch/ill parallels and CC becomes pretty obvious.

It infuriates me that people would go to the other side. Disregard d’s well being for some reward. They are in fact a direct cause of the problem.

The shame of it is, I’d say they have to live with knowing they’re part of the problem, but they clearly don’t care or they wouldn’t have sold themselves out for whatever they were promised.

To know the truth yet support the lies is reprehensible in my book.

They are the lowest of the low.

I wasn't going to respond to this anon's comment but I'm looking at my 50's in my rearview mirror. Makes me past my mid-life crisis, also makes me much more likely to view the pablum PR tries to feed the GA with skepticism and disbelief. My "many" years have taught me to treat others with respect, but when you push me I become a SUPER BITCH!!! Piss off!!!

Is anyone else having trouble keeping up with the timeline with this show? I feel like I never know when things are. Like was Cunanan on the FBI’s most wanted list even before he killed Versace?
