I Dont Remember What The Old Name of this Blog Was

@nerdybitchywitchy

Mars. I'm the strong fat futch bi of your dreams. She/He/They/It. Adult. You can absolutely send me an ask, but I almost never check my inbox lol. I'm just forgetful and ADHD as hell. There is little consistency to what I reblog and/or post ♥️

The Biden administration announced Friday that it had processed the first round of a huge adjustment to student loan debt, which will result in $39 billion in debt being canceled for some 804,000 borrowers. The loan adjustment was announced last year, and will provide debt relief to borrowers who were, to put it bluntly, ripped off by incompetent or downright fraudulent mismanagement of the government’s Income-Driven Repayment (IDR) program. And yes, we said this was the first round: If you think you might qualify for this relief too, you have until the end of 2023 to get in line for the next rounds, as we’ll discuss later.

Hey, could you do me a favor?

Could you just RB this?

The little RB statistics chart is so pleasant and stimmy to look at and I want to see what it looks like when it gets really REALLY huge because it makes me think of some deep sea lifeform

i will never care about the met gala beacuse i know in my heart if you gave a drag queen 45$ and three days they could make something completely out of this world that out every single celeb to shame

i can answer this! the met gala is the main source of funding for the metropolitan museum’s costume institute, which houses something like 30k pieces of surviving historical clothing, shoes, accessories, etc. dating all the way back to the 15th century. the costume institute is the only department of the met that has to fund itself; ticket sales and donations are the institute’s only other sources of funding. the met gala brings in millions of dollars to the institute

i know it seems like just a bunch of rich people flaunting their wealth, but it’s actually what’s paying for the upkeep of all of these pieces of fashion history and keeping them available for public view, instead of in private collections. plus we get to laugh at rich people who don’t know how themes work

“we live in an uncaring universe” yeah dude and I live in an uncaring house. and I shit in an uncaring toilet. but do you touch an uncaring lover? do you comfort an uncaring child? do you guide to sleep each night a cold and uncaring self?

"In the same way your heart feels and your mind thinks, you, mortal beings, are the instrument by which the universe cares. If you choose to care, then the universe cares. If you don't, then it doesn't." - Brennan Lee Mulligan, Fantasy High S1E17

my tumblr dashboard hasn't gotten the updated UI yet so hearing more and more people I follow gradually post about the nightmare they're currently living just feels like I'm in the first fifteen minutes of a horror series where Troubling News Stories are starting to crop up on the radio and on blurry background TV sets

Listen to me. Listen to me. Listen to me. Listen to me.

I know there is a lot of discourse (tm) around this right now but listen to me

sometimes you do just have to lie to children.

If, when my toddler is, you know, toddling around saying “mama? Big ball?”

If I were lean down and say “unfortunately the big beach ball for some reason fills you with such an unadulterated rage that is beyond human comprehension that you scream until you pass out, so mama had to remove the beach ball from the premises until you can better regulate your emotions” she would simply stare at me like I had 3 heads full of equal betrayal.

So, for now, instead “big ball went night night!”

Please understand when I say “removed the ball from the premises” I mean I popped it in a fit of exhausted confusion. I murdered the beach ball.

See I’ve lied to you all too and it was better this way.

you can’t just leave this in the tags etc.

You can’t be funnier then me on my own posts, I’m in tears from laughter

new thing i learned just now: in like 400 AD there was a monk named simeon stylites who used to live in a one room cell with a window but too many people kept bugging him for religious advice, so he climbed to the top of a pillar and shackled himself to it until he died 37 years later.

this became a cool new trend to the point where there were enough pillar monks of varying viewpoints that they would scream at each other all day

i just saw a trans dude like My Age say some shit like "im a trans man and im bisexual so theoretically i could date women but then i would be subjecting them to having to date a man and i dong want anyone to suffer that much" and ive seen so many similar videos on my fyp from trans boys so if ur a trans boy reading this i love u its okay to be a man. ur not a monster ur great transitioning wont make you abusive or anything i promise its okay to be a man

“Being a man makes you Contaminated In Some Way and women having romantic contact with men are Suffering” is radfem koolaid.

This man’s even wearing gloves so his sweetly hands don’t slow his swipes down..

once went to a japanese arcade and a man watched me play the taiko (drumming) game, gave me a little applause, and then started his game, pulled out a set of custom drum sticks from a bag that held several different weights and then proceeded to play faster than the speed of light.

As someone who lives in Asia, where speed-break-your-wrists type of games are incredibly popular. Yeah. Thats just how it is. You walk in any arcade, up to any cabinet, claw game, DDR, anything. And %80 of the time there will be some dude with a bag of quarters, who watches you play a game or two, then happily nods, claps and smiles at you. Before they reveal they have the key to open a rift in time and space. They show you a glimpse at the answers of the universe while simultaneously showing you what you could have accomplished if you never accepted the rules and boundaries of the universe. Then, if your lucky, they might gift you a little plush you waisted $34 in won and about 2 hours trying to get it yourself. You will never see them again after this.
