Stop thinking: "How can I stop feeling like that?" And start thinking: "How can I cope with this feeling? What could I do to support myself in this situation?" Find coping skills that you like and that work well for you. Try cozy gaming, drawing, tea, working out, a hot and cold shower, journaling, sour candy.

10 tips for casual elegance ⋆。𖦹 °✩

  1. Reading. Reading. Reading. Being well-read is so valuable!! Get cosy, pick up a Jane Austen, Emily Brontë, or maybe a Charles Dickens and spend some of your free time indulging in literature. <3
  2. Soft-spoken and kind expressions. No one likes being around rude people. Being a bitch doesn’t make you look confident. Instead, be kind, make conversation, pay attention, engage, etc… trust me.
  3. Dainty jewellery. Find some high-quality signature pieces.
  4. Think before you speak. Take a moment to reflect on your thoughts so you can speak confidently and with intent without stumbling over your words!! <3
  5. Quality over quantity. Stop buying large amounts of cheap clothing; instead, save up and invest in higher-quality pieces that will actually last you. :)
  6. Practice your handwriting. Having pretty and neat handwriting is a lovely little detail; extra points if you write in cursive. ;)
  7. Drop the slang words. Bro, cap, sus, drip, rizz, mid… just stop, please.
  8. Keep to yourself. Small circle, no bragging, gossips only with the closest, keep your plans to yourself.
  9. Watch your posture. Straighten that back, honey. I see you. :))
  10. Manicured nails. I do mine every two weeks. Almond-shaped, always dark red. <3

For my girlies that want to be really succesful and happy but have not figured out yet ie. Are yet to connect with their life's purpose and/or choose a career, here's the tip of the century: devote your time to learning a diverse group of practical, timeless and mostly widely applicable skills. Examples?

  1. Language. Learning a parent language eg German or Spanish or Mandarin will never not come in handy. When you do figure out your career this skill will find a way to be applicable. Let's not forget the networking opportunities plus if there is a foreign aspect to it eg an office abroad guess who will make the list.
  2. Dance or music. Mostly classical. This might not apply to your career if it's not in the arts but it connects you to your feminine creative side, is great for your mental health, brings a touch of sophistication to you, the health benefits and oh so impressive. Plus it's music sis. Music solves everything.
  3. Crafts(wo)manship. We are talking knitting, pottery, crotchetting, couture, etc. One, hobby. Two, Etsy. Three, sophistication. Four, femininity. Five, you'll give the best gifts over Christmas, trust me.
  4. Swimming, driving, flight, etc. I am 100% convinced swimming and driving are basic life skills. Will there ever be a day in your life when you'll regret that you can drive? Or swim? Unless you're angling for driver it might not contribute to your career but it will to your life.if you can get a flight license do that. If you can get a motorcycle license do just that. Even if it's a hot air balloon, do just that. You can not convince me swimming is not a life skill I am literally surprised by people that can't swim. Never been in a flood huh.
  5. Social skills. The thing about social skills is that they are, drumroll, SKILLS. Skills are not inborn, they are learned and we live in the era of Robert Greene and Genie Sayles and Dale Carnegie and free online courses and if there is one set of skills that's the backbone of everything its this one. There is no time having social skills will not help. Not professionally. Not socially. Not even in your family. Or friends. Whatever your life purpose is, you will need social skills. Communication is the key to EVERYTHING.
  6. "Health" related skills. I'm talking gut health, get a first aid certification, learn herbs and holistic methods and reiki and yoga and all that. Your wellbeing shouldn't even be a choice honestly. Is there one time being at prime health will Not come in handy? No. Till you figure stuff out learn the right foods, learn to heal your gut, learn quick first aid tips, learn how your body works, learn female reproductive health, learn evolutionary psychology- stack up on the health.if your community has traditional healing methods learn that. Especially those of us that want to be moms? You'll need this so bad.
  7. Fashion, styling, beauty. Because we are women and let's be honest , it's much easier and better when you finally learn to style yourself and express yourself through your clothing & make up &c &c and do what's good for your skin and hair and- you get it. Is there a day you will not need to dress? No? There you go
  8. Financial education. Now if I need to explain this to you please meet me out back I just wanna talk

You don't have to figure out your entire future to invest in it.

One of my favorite pieces of advice is to always be true to yourself. It's important to know who you are, what you believe in, and what you want out of life. When you're true to yourself, you'll be more confident, more fulfilled, and more likely to attract the right people and opportunities into your life. So always stay true to yourself, even when it's hard, and you'll be okay.

Perfectionism is not your friend. It’s rooted in the fear that what you do won’t be good enough. It’s over-valuing others’ opinion of you and your work.

Perfectionism leaves you paralyzed, waiting for the perfect conditions so you know it’s safe to act. Unfortunately, if you’re waiting for the perfect conditions, you may wait for the rest of your life.

If you can learn to fall in love with the process, rather than the product, you’ll be free to chase your passions unrestrained. Don’t let perfectionism keep you from moving. After all, you can’t steer a parked car.

not to be a hedonist but. pleasure IS the whole point, my loves. we are made for pleasure. humans have not survived out of spite or sheer grit or simply to make more humans. we live for pleasure. the pleasure of licking the last delicious crumbs off your fingers and feeling sunlight on your skin and massaging a loved one's shoulders. we're made to fill our bellies with delicious food, to nap in soft grass, to touch each other in joy and comfort.

there is no shame or guilt in our bodies doing what they were made to do. and we are made for pleasure.

The Four Agreements by Don Miguel Ruiz

1. BE IMPECCABLE WITH YOUR WORD: Speak with integrity. Say only what you mean. Avoid using the word to speak against yourself or to gossip about others. Use the power of your word in the direction of truth and love.

2. DON’T TAKE ANYTHING PERSONALLY: Nothing others do is because of you. What others say and do is a projection of their own reality, their own dream. When you are immune to the opinions and actions of others, you won’t be the victim of needless suffering.

3. DON’T MAKE ASSUMPTIONS: Find the courage to ask questions and to express what you really want. Communicate with others as clearly as you can to avoid misunderstandings, sadness, and drama. With just this one agreement, you can completely transform your life.

4. ALWAYS DO YOUR BEST: Your best is going to change from moment to moment; it will be different when you are healthy as opposed to sick. Under any circumstance, simply do your best, and you will avoid self-judgment, self-abuse, and regret.

Becoming more productive

  • Be a bit delulu... Believe in yourself; every goal you set yourself is archivable!! ;)
  • Challenging/tedious tasks first!! Get them out of the way!! ew!!
  • Visualise your goals!! What do you want to archive? How will you feel when you reach your goal? Write everything down, and make a cute vision card on Pinterest. Always helps me stay motivated <33
  • Make the most of your time. Got some free extra minutes? Start working on something from your to-do list!! :)
  • Organise your space. Being in a comfortable and inviting environment is so so important to be able to focus properly. Some scented candles, a cute bookshelf, some pictures…
  • Plan ahead, make a simple to-do list (no more than 7 points)
  • Fix your sleep schedule… I'm still working on this myself… once I figure out how I'll definitely make a little guide lol…
  • Take breaks, especially when studying. Exercise is perfect for relaxing your mind; if you don't love working out - like me... lol - going on a walk is a great option too!! <33
  • Be aware of procrastination… are you procrastinating right now..?
  • Reward yourself!! Spend some time taking care of yourself, invest time in your hobbies, eat your favourite meal, or get yourself a nice coffee… small things that make you feel good :)

As always, Please feel free to add your own suggestions and tips in the comments!! <3

organize your week like this to be closer to the best version of yourself

i interpret the process of becoming our best version as climbing a ladder, on each step, we learn something new that serves us, and the next we complement it with something new, and so on until we reach the end and after many small habits we have become that version we wanted to be. little by little we are learning and although sometimes it is complicated to climb because of the adversities that may arise we can always take up the path again and put into practice what we have learned. that said, today i want to share a method that i have created to organize our habits and thus fulfill them more effectively and feel motivated. in this post i will only present some examples, you have to apply it to your own situation and my recommendation is to start now even with small habits that will be the ones that will lead you to success. i recommend that you try it for this week and write down your results, if it has worked for you keep using this "organization method" and adding new habits or increasing its time.

  • organize by categories.

create groups to categorize the habits you want to implement in your life, for example like this (the habits are examples, use your own)

🌿 health (body and nutrition)

  • 10 minutes of exercise every day
  • 30 minutes of walking every day
  • drink a lot more water
  • start eating consciously

one self-care day a week, for example on friday. we can take this day more relaxed and take more care of ourselves, dedicate more time to our personal and mental care.

  • do massage with the quartz roller and gua sha
  • make an appointment for nails, hairdresser, spa, eyelashes or even go to a coffee shop with yourself.
  • use a face mask and hair mask

🌿 personal growth

  • read 10 pages a day
  • listen to personal growth podcasts or audiobooks (choose one and listen to it all week long)
  • choose an affirmation and write it down every day
  • record in a diary or an app your mood and what you did during the day.
  • create a to-do list of what you will do for the day (the night before)
  • choose a video of affirmations and listen to it every day at a time that suits you best

🌿 studies

  • study about what you are studying or training for.
  • dedicate e.g. 20-30 minutes each day to study or review.
  • study a new language, 15 minutes a day, 5 days a week.

🌿 hobbies

  • 1 - 2 hours to what you enjoy doing (depends on the day and your schedule)

you can write down in a notebook the groups you want to choose for yourself and then the habits you are going to implement, even if they are very small, for example 5 minutes of daily exercise, that is a good start.

to stay focused and not fall into old habits we can also replace the old habits with new ones that we want to implement in this way.

old habit: too much time on instagram new habit: reading or listening to an audiobook while i take a walk. or even just 15 minutes of social media a day.

other examples:

  • drinking soda or alcoholic beverages > drinking a lot more water and starting to drink natural juices.
  • watch a lot of series on netflix (or any streaming platform) > read or listen to podcasts/audiobooks that nourish my mind.
  • overthinking, worrying > meditating for about 5 minutes
  • lying in bed without doing anything > organizing my room
  • think in negative > think about the things you would like to happen to you

other tips to connect with your best version

  • write in your diary how you would act, be and what habits your best version would have. this will give you clarity about what you want and you will feel closer to that because you will know how to act.
  • establish small habits to start with and take it as a kind of game or test during this week. don't push yourself too hard.
  • at times when you don't know how to act or react, think about how your best version would act and what it would do.
  • write down things you are proud of or would like to be proud of.
  • if you are easily distracted or do not know what to do at any given moment, set alarms to know what to do at that moment.
  • if you use social media a lot, set a limit of use.
  • choose habits that you know you will be able to do easily, that will make you gain confidence and little by little establish those habits in which you have procrastinated or which are more difficult for you.
  • think big, open yourself to the possibilities that life offers you every day and keep a positive attitude towards any situation.

apps i recommend: habit: it serves to keep track of your habits and also get organized, it's a kind of to-do list. daylio: you can record your mood, what you did during the day and your habits, it also allows you to write and add photos. it is very complete, it can be used as a digital diary. notion: to get organized.

duolingo: if you want to learn a language a few minutes a day will be enough. i learned a lot of grammar in english thanks to this, which works if you practice daily.

and as always my blog is about this and there will be many more related posts in addition to the existing ones, all to be our best version 🤍 in fact if you try it i would love to know your results.

How to make someone feel loved <3

  • Write them a cute letter.
  • Carefully listen to what they are saying and ask genuine questions.
  • Wait for them if you notice them falling behind.
  • Ask them how their day was. <3
  • Show them your favourite songs, films, and books.
  • “I miss you”, “I love you, “I’m thinking about you”.
  • Bake them something. Like the heart jam cookies from Pinterest (should I post the recipe??)

  • If they get interrupted, ask what they were going to say.
  • Remember their favourite coffee/drink order.
  • Offer them encouragement and support.
  • Surprise them with a small gift, something that made you think of them.
  • Buy them flowers.
  • Send them links to stuff that you think they might like.
