SuperWonder II
As promised, Dheeraj Verma and Jason Moore’s Superman/Wonder Woman art has finally been colored by Jesse Heagy. The original black and white lineart was posted up last month, but here’s the piece in its full intended glory.
Again, while this still missed what would have been the 80th anniversary of Superman due to unforeseen complications, I’m still posting this for the people who truly loved the character and deserved better than garbage like “Rebirth” and DC’s embarrassing idea of celebrating the 80th by putting Imposter Superman in the old granny panties. And for the gang at @hellyeahsupermanandwonderwoman, I hope they’ll get a kick out of seeing the completed artwork, too.
Do you recognize this page? It’s from Superman #5 (vol 2). I’m sure you’ve seen it thousands of time! This is one of the old comic pages that haters use to bash Superwonder fans.
But they never mention the next page, right after Clark wakes up! He admits that ever since he met Diana, he can’t stop thinking about her. Subconsciously he wants to be with her!
Love between Clark and Diana has always been tender, a little complicated but bonded by friendship, and trust. It humanizes them because they both feel as vulnerable or as excited as any other couple learning to compromise and grow together. Be it the unresolved sexual tension when they were besties or as canonical lovers, their relationship was and is the best for me in all of DC comics. And nothing anyone can say will change that in my mind.

What you two morons should’ve done

Couldn’t help but draw a comic based on this post by @reybens that I saw via @thedarkbluemoon
Hope you like it! :)
once upon a time, before the last jedi happened, i thought it would be nice if there was a first order ball and rey was in disguise (but with no disguise).
