I think there are some court cases or situations in which the jury should be allowed to heckle the attorneys. If not verbally, we should at least be provided with popcorn and allowed to throw it.

The point of voting is harm reduction. The system is bad and stupid. That’s not the conversation. I'm going to assume you're asking in good faith so I'm going to try to answer in kind, on a point by point basis.
Firstly, I'm going to put aside the specific phrase of "harm reduction" because I could talk all day about how frustrating it is to see a phrase made in reference to safe drug usage and legalization used to support a Democratic party that put Joe Biden in the White House, who doesn't even support marijuana decriminalization.
Firstly, who is truly having their harm reduced? Because Biden has increased police and military funding even over Trump, to better enforce imperialism, white supremacy, and colonialism at home and abroad. The Biden admin has continued apace with an appalling immigration policy that was crafted under Bush and Obama and worsened under Trump. Deportations continue at a blistering rate. Children still in cages. The Biden COVID policy was more of the same we got under Trump. Climate policy is a joke, oil and gas drilling approvals are up under Biden.
So moving past that: "the system is bad, but that's not the conversation" Who is deciding what the conversation is? Isn't it in the interest of those in power to specifically limit the conversation to systemic solutions? There's no question that things are getting worse but I would argue that a system that presents the electoral options of "collapse into fascism" or "maybe slower collapse into fascism" necessitates a conversation for what we do other than just voting and protesting.
Next, on the landscape of voting: you give several good examples of why voting can't be relied on to get us out of this. We live in a country with the largest per capita prison population in the world, probably in human history, and that disallows felons from voting. Gerrymandering means that in many states your vote is effectively nullified. The electoral college functions similarly. Voting protections are being chipped away and the options for actually meaningfully affecting electoral politics beyond the local level shrinks by the day. Why, then, would we make voting the pillar of our political strategy?
"Fix the system." I would argue it is working as intended, namely to defend capitalism and white supremacy and imperialism at any cost.
"Tear the system down." Yeah that's the idea.
Finally, the fact that DeSantis is essentially running Florida as his own autocratic playground, after coming to power on purged voter rolls and massively suppressed votes for the reasons discussed above, should be the most damning evidence that fascism is here to stay, that we are past the point where voting can reliably serve as a truly effective brake in the collapse of the United States.
So why can't we talk about politics by other means? Why do people who insist that the conversation center on electoralism get to control the boundaries of discourse on politics and strategy? Why are we wasting our time on this? Vote if it will make you feel better, if it will make a difference on a local level, but let's not pretend that we're voting our way out of this situation, and stop turning on people who point that out.

This is how Matt Walsh tried to con me into What Is a Woman last year. Thankfully, exposing him helped other trans people back out of the project. I hope sharing this information will do the same. These bigots can’t get interviews without lying to us.
To be clear, I knew it was a sham from the start. They’re using Gmail, called drag bans “the drag issue,” and refused to reveal the distributor. I planned on having them book me a hotel so I could ask for the name on their card. I didn’t even have to go that far: they forgot to create a new Calendly account, which still was registered to Robby’s website!
Based on the questions they sent me, it appears Robby planned to use his connections to arrest me in Tennessee. He's called for my arrest many times before and his tactic probably would have worked had I fallen for his clumsy front. This is full-on fascist behavior.
A strange part of Robby's fake documentary is that it appears the alleged director Matt Rodgers is a real filmmaker. They sent me his website but claimed he couldn’t speak while filming in Croatia this week (another dead giveaway). Could he be directing the film? Or is he just another front?
So Robby, just like your congressional campaign, you've failed to achieve your goal. I'd love to hear what you have in store for us now that you’re exposed.
Be safe out there people. As an activist in another arena I have been contacted by underhanded documentary people twice and sometimes it takes a lot of detective work to sniff out what they’re really trying to do. Don’t accidentally help them and don’t put yourself in danger. Real activists making media will have checkable connections with established trustworthy organizations. (And the ones who may be just starting out and have no proof, well, on an issue like this, do you really want to risk your safety to do one of these projects with someone who’s given you no reason to trust them?)

earlier today (june 2) addis ababa police killed three muslims after friday prayer as retaliation from the protests of last week. the protesters were speaking out against the demolition of over a dozen mosques for (what every sane person knows is) our prime minister's new city—sheger city—made only for people of oromia decent at the expense of literally everyone else.
ethiopians of every ethnicity (except oromia bc this government benefits only them) are protesting this city. this is not the first time the ethiopian government, specifically our [redacted] of a prime minister, has intervened in religious affairs. earlier this year, he tried to intervene in the ethiopian orthodox church. fortunately those efforts have seemingly paused (for now).
