hi ! positive update, i was able to get my meds and such from your help and im so thankful bc im already feeling way wayyy better, good news is as of november 17th i got a job offer that i’ll be taking and starting between December 12th-18th depending on when all my paperwork gets processed, until then i am still without a job and still offering commissions indefinitely details and examples here!!!!

if you are writing fanfiction about a character that is canonically romani, do not write about them practicing our culture. do not write about them speaking our language. do not write about them experiencing antiromanyism.

do not write about canonically romani characters as thieves, kidnappers, seductresses, magic-users, or fortune tellers. do not write about them as nonhuman, especially with regards to vampires. if a romani character is canonically a thief, kidnapper, seductress, fortune teller, or vampire, do not write about them at all.

nine times out of ten, anything beyond a mention of romani heritage is done disrespectfully. i would always rather read fanfiction about a romani character written respectfully as culturally ambiguous than i would a romani character written explicitly as romani done badly even out of ignorance.
