Thandie and I have such an amazing friendship. My main concern was that I would either feel too bad about fighting her, or I would laugh. But we both really gave it our all, and not only are they fighting each other, they’re fighting with technology that they’ve hacked.

Arianne Martell Fancast Resource
As a young girl, Arianne was pudgy and flat-chested, and she would pray to the Seven nightly, hoping that she would be given beauty when she was older. Now a woman in her early twenties, Arianne is buxom and beautiful, with olive skin, large dark eyes and long, thick black hair that falls in ringlets to the middle of her back. She has full lips, a husky voice, and round ripe breasts with huge dark nipples. Favoring her mother Mellario, Arianne is short, standing at five foot two.
When attending to matters of politics, Arianne conceals her lush and curvaceous body with flowing silks, jewels, and other ostentatious displays of wealth. (x)
AIYSHA HART - ARIADNE (ATLANTIS)
Aiysha is one of my favorite fancasts for Arianne. She fits my mental image of her well, and she has a variety of costumes that are really well-suited to the Dornish aesthetic. She was in her mid-20s while filming Atlantis, which is set vaguely in ancient Greece.
SIBYLLA DEEN - ANKHE (ATLANTIS)
Another fancast from the same series: Sibylla's a bit old for Arianne, being in her mid-30s during filming, but I still think she works really well for her. Again, she has a good variety of footage and costumes in a vaguely ancient Greek style.
NAOMI SCOTT - JASMINE (ALADDIN)
Naomi is another one of my most-used fancasts for both Arianne and Elia. I like her balance of sweetness and determination, and as one of the leads, she has plenty of footage in the live-action Aladdin, during which she was 24. The costumes are middle-eastern fantasy and tend to be in very bright colors.
KYLIE BUNBURY - SUHAD (TUT)
Kylie's look is a little less traditional for Arianne, but I like her a lot. She has particularly perfect hair for Arianne's "ringlets to the middle of her back." She was 25 filming Tut, which is set in ancient Egypt and has really great costumes for Dorne.
KAREN DAVID - PRINCESS ISABELLA (GALAVANT) and PRINCESS JASMINE (ONCE UPON A TIME)
Karen David has played two medieval fantasy princesses, both of whom make great Ariannes. She was in her mid- to late30s for both roles. Galavant has a lot more footage of her, but both characters have a determination that suits Arianne well.
AISHWARYA RAI - MIRA (THE LAST LEGION)
Aishwarya is maybe the most famous Indian actress, and she has a career spanning more than twenty years. The movie of hers that I think best fits a Dornish aesthetic is The Last Legion, during which she was ~28. However, it's worth digging deeper into her film credits for good Arianne material.
Q'ORIANKA KILCHER - KA'IULANI (PRINCESS KAIULANI)
Q'orianka is a bit of a nontraditional choice for Arianne, but I like her a lot. Her character in Princess Kaiulani has a very similar attitude to Arianne's, fiercely defending her home and her people. She was in her late teens when filming the movie, which is set in the late 1800s.

Yes I think either actress is fine because at the end of the day it all comes down to what our personal vision or version of the character is. Depending upon taste, Raven's aesthetic is every versatile. I personally like thinking of her looking more like Heady Lamarr as I've always really loved old Hollywood, but also because the struggles's Lamarr went through in her personal and professional life fit in well with my personal characterization of Raven. She was a brilliant woman, but very haunted.
Plus I think it’s at least safe to ponder that under Eduardo Barreto and Shelley Eiber’s time as artist and colors she may have graced minds 😜
