"You get what anybody gets. You get a lifetime." The #bookoftheweek is DEATH The Deluxe Edition, by @neilhimself There is nothing about this book that can't pass as perfect. @Chris Bachallo work is amazing as usual, and goes great with Gaiman's words. The stories about how Death comes to earth for a day once every Century, are beautiful, and bittersweet, just like Death herself. The art gallery is huge, the covers and other art by McKean (another all time favorite) are haunting, and the last story with a little cameo of some chainsmoker bastard from Liverpool reminded me of that aftertaste only the comics of the 90's used to have. 10/10 will Read again.
In the other hand this week's #bookoftheweek is William Shakespeare's STAR WARS: A Verily New Hope
This book is a blast! (Pun kinda intended).
I found myself laughing outloud every other page, Mr. ian doescher made a magnificent work re imagining Star Wars as a classic play. So many good quotes, I barely have space to write, so:
"Not merely random, neither awkward like
A blaster. Nay, the lightsaber mantains
A noble elegance, a Jedi's pride.
'Tis something for a civiliz'd new age."

Last week's #bookoftheweek was Martin Amis' Dead Babies. Spoiler alert, there is not a single dead baby in this book.
I see why people include it in "shocking books" lists, but it didn't make much for me. I mean, it is raw and cruel, but overall a fun lecture,
Depression was visiting the past few weeks, so I was a bit idle with my regular posting schedule, so to compensate that, here is the first post of the day. More #copicmarkers practice, kinda of a second part of the practice a couple weeks ago
This weeks very late book of the week is Bryan Lee O'malley's Lost at Sea.
It is a great book that lingers in the back of your mind like a pain you didnt know you had, but somehow you miss.
It was a great lecture, and it has so many Cats...
More copic practice from early this week. A bit of art noveau flavor for this one.
Copic Marker practice from early this week. I still have to work in the overall contrast of my pieces.
A little fanart of the lovely @cottoncandygray
How can anybody resist her is beyond me. I couldn’t decide which way to go with the lips, so here are both versions.
First tabletop commission of the year, this amazing dragonborn.
I had a few hiccups with the armor design, but once I remember the intension of the armor, everything went really smooth.
I couldn’t help myself after the first trailer.
This is gonna be a hard end
Warm up with the drawthread
Post apocalyptic warrior of some kind. I don’t recall the name of the game.
Another commission.
Drawing humanoids are an amazing exercise.
And this is how I keep my colors sharp.
Daily movie studies, 15 minutes each no color picker. If you manage to resist the frustrating part. this are really useful.
This was one of my favorite from last year. I’ve never designed a Treant before, and I learn to love this fellas. More D&D commissions.
People really love dem mechanical arms.
Another character from the same thread.
A Magitech suddenly appear!
Went to one of my now-not-so-regular forums, and made this for the drawthread. Seems like a fun idea. but now I can’t remember any of the details, except it was a blast to create. Cheers.
A close up of a commission for my mate Jason.
Man I love to do designs with that blizzard vibe in them.
Another SW commission from last year. (I probably should start posting this in order...
