Thank you fur having a wonderful blog. I'm a switch married to a vanilla girl. I recently got a taezapper and have been playing with it (mostly shocking my genitals) but my wife is afraid it might cause permanent damage. Do you know if there is a source I can look at for health risks of that kind of electric play? I think her concern is more about lots of feeling after prolonged use more than e.g. burns that heal in about few days/weeks.

Good morning. First post after following instructor 144 for since I discovered him on tumblr. The human body uses electrical impulses to transmit signals to and from the brain. Continual and excessive usage of such high voltage can and will cause nerve damage, as well having the potential for temporary numbing as well. The privates are packed with sensory nerve endings, hence why these spots are sensitive. However, this also means that you can be at risk for erectile dysfunction, as a result of nerve damage to the area. Given the nature of the equipment as well as the high voltage applied, that can be assumed to be permanent injury.
There exists a much lower voltage application for a similar device, a TENS unit which is used for temporary relief from pain associated with spinal injuries such as q pinched nerve or a herniated disc.
Hope this helps.
