I just love knitting with handspun so much. Look how good these wavy stripes turned out! Also really love this pattern. Super easy and simple without being too boring. And I’m obsessed with the colours!

Pattern is Sea Line Shawl by Nuria Pastor (ravelry)

And as much as I would love to keep this one for myself, it is now in the shop!

In each of the portraits, which are mostly from the thigh up, the subject gazes squarely at the photographer, giving them a sense of presence, power, and autonomy. End ID]

Finally got all the busy work done and broke out the tiny bird scissors. And, you know what?

STEEKING. IS. MAGIC.

I feel like the most badass knitter ALIVE.

Today's tea is one that Adagio doesn't seem to carry any more; which is unfortunate because this Green Assam is quite good! It's...a little closer to a black tea than most green teas are; brews as a green but tastes a little stronger and less grassy.

Today's knit is almost halfway through casting off! 23 leaves done and I think 27 to go if I am counting right. It's going to be quite a canopy when they're all done and blocked out, going by how much the one corner I pinned for this pic has stretched out!

(Mallorn Shawl in Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud Fingering, Daisy colorway)

This Archangel colorway is magical. Interior lights completely wash it away to blues and purples, making it a rosy orange color. Pretty pleased with the pattern, I think I’ll be making many more scrappy socks with it.

I should find and finish the Medusa head I started crocheting a few years ago

Imagine you hate a guy so much and then you watch him effortlessly offer up exactly what your closest friend and greatest love for the past 6,000 years still won’t give you. Crowley has literally suffered more than anyone in the history of the world

Knitters: Do any of you know if this particular knitting pattern has a name?

Mittens are from the Selbu museum.

I'm pretty sure it's a Selbu pattern; I know it's Norwegian. Do the different Selbu patterns have names?
