I think the reason I dislike the idea of "everything is political" is that you can technically wring political symbolism/analogy out of anything if you try hard enough, but that doesn't mean those ideas are actually relevant, sane things to take away from something.

Is Super Mario Bros. a supporter of gender theory? Does Halo support transhumanism? Is Kirby anti-communist propaganda? Is Lord of the Rings racist? The only kinds of people who seriously ask these kinds of questions are the ones who have made politics their only personality trait. They can't concieve of anything existing outside of their (typically secular, post-modern, leftist) political theory. So whenever they see something that doesn't even touch on these things they desperately try to force it to. Like shoving a round block in a square hole.

These people are insufferable to be around because they've made politics their religion and they can't and won't shut up about it. It's the athiest equivalent of those fundie youth pastors who say that Pokemon and Lord of the Rings are demonic. Only people who are completely out of touch with reality act this way.

We need more good, upright, sensible women with good ethics out there defending innocent men who just wanna go about their lives.

Rad Feminism has utterly destroyed dating & that's making the lives of women who actually want to be wives & mothers, in particular, much much more difficult because men just don't want to take the risk of finding the right girl anymore!

Did you know that it's actually a felony if a man doesn't register for the selective service? For them to have the right to vote, they have to be subject to the draft.

At least male rapists actually get jail time. A girl recently raped a 13 year old boy & is now having his baby, but she gets to walk free, no jail time at all! Not only that, but she gets to keep the baby!

I remember one post on feministing downplaying false rape accusations. Said they don't really hurt men.

One women in the comments said her husband was falsely accused by a crazy ex, and he reacted almost exactly like a female sexual assault victim the commenter knew.

Also, while I was checking my archive for that post, I found this post by a black lesbian about supporting her raped brother. She said "radfems" helped contribute to his silence.

I've seen multiple articles about the "Mike Pence rule", especially when it came to workplaces. A lot of people went "men, if you don't trust yourself around the woman, that's your problem".

As if it's completely impossible for a woman to be in the wrong. Or any mistakes the woman makes are entirely the man's fault.

I also see people downplaying the idea that woman can lie about sexual misconduct to their own advantage. Which is precisely the kind of attitude that benefits such women.

The woman getting child support from what should qualify as her statutory rape victim isn't an isolated incident. It's an established precedent.
