“In an act of defiance against Tennessee’s anti-drag law, Lizzo has performed in the state with a whole bunch of Drag Race faves and local queens, and yes, it was iconic.”
Lizzo said:
“In light of recent and tragic events and current events, I was told by people on the internet, ‘Cancel your shows in Tennessee,’ ‘Don’t go to Tennessee,’ ‘We don’t have to go there’.
“Their reasons were valid. But why would I not come to the people who need to hear this message the most, the people who need to feel this release the most?
“Why would I not create a safe space in Tennessee where we can celebrate drag entertainers and celebrate our differences? And celebrate fat Black women?”
Together we can beat the Fascists.

I need your feedback on the Queen of Hearts, the lesbian Pride Knight, for a deck of LGBTQ+ playing cards I am working on. My friend on Instagram @heyraksha made this beautiful composition:
The card features the Lesbian Pride Knight, with a fox holding the sunset pride flag in its mouth. Francesco (illustrator) and I were thinking of giving the fox an orange hue, and making the knight's hair color red to compliment the flag colors:
What do you think?
Thank you everyone for your feedback! Here she is, the Queen of Hearts, the lesbian Pride Knight!
Hey everyone! I am creating a deck of playing cards featuring Pride Knights and I need your feedback. The heart series is animal themed and I need to know whether we should go with frogs or with snakes for the King of Hearts (Gay Pride Knight)? Here is the sketch:
The circles are a place holder for the small animal companions. Your feedback will be instrumental in creating a deck that celebrates the diversity and strength of the LGBTQ+ community, so please let me know your thoughts! ⚔️ 🌈
FROGS FROGS FROGS! Imagine adding a happy little froggy on his head! that will look so cute omg
Thank you everyone for your feedback! I loved the idea of adding a frog on his head! Meet the King of Hearts! 👑 ♥️

“Today is the day to make sure that the trans community is visible for who they are and what we stand for. Today is the day to make sure that a trans person in your community feels seen and that their opinions and ideas are heard. Today is the day to make sure that the trans community is seen and most importantly heard in any level of legislation, especially if our rights are up for debate.”
So, what exactly does that mean in a year when we've already been made VERY visible by lawmakers, school officials, and in the media? We asked around in our community. This year, it means...
🟣 Intentionally LISTENING to trans people (including trans youth) about our own personal stories, feelings, and experiences is so vital.
🟣 Allies need to stand UP and speak out alongside us - sometimes it's not safe for us to do so.
🟣 We need to engage with and share more trans content and uplift trans content creators to learn from each other and educate allies - we have amazing streamers weekly on our Twitch, tons of stories on Youtube, and a whole trans and nonbinary playlist on TikTok!
🟣 We need to share resources to support one another. We have an entire database of over 1,000 LGBTQ+ organizations on our Get Help page that you can filter by issue area and location, including a page just for trans and GNC people at itgetsbetter.org/gethelp. Save it for yourself and share with friends.
🟣 We're not going to stop celebrating trans joy...
🟣 And while we know hate is being projected by a vocal minority, there are still plenty of people who have our backs.

An informational comic I illustrated for my comics 2 class about drag!
Why does everyone think that when they get superpowers they have to either be a villain or a hero or use their powers for some cause. FUCK THAT. I’m using my telekinesis to get chores done. I’m using my water breathing abilities to dress as a creepy mermaid and scare the fuck out of surfers. Man, I don’t have time to develop a moral code or goal. My powers will be used to spice up my life and the lives of everyone around me in minor ways whether y’all like it or not.
Yes, Spain!!!!
[Image descriptions: 1. Tweet by AJ+ @AJPlus [gold check verified] that says: Spain became the 1st country in Europe to offer paid menstrual leave, for 3-5 days. It also gave final approval to laws that: [bullet point] enshrine rights to abortion for people over 16 [bullet point] let trans people over 16 self-identify gender by simple declaration, one of the only places to do so [Attached to the Tweet is a photo of a group of people with trans flags gathered on the steps of a building with large stone columns.]
2. A headline from DW that says: “Spain passes laws on trans rights, abortion, menstrual leave – DW.” The visible part of the article says, “The new laws expand transgender rights and abortion access, as well as give workers paid menstrual leave. The approval comes ahead of…” \End descriptions]

1) "Anti-trans legislation is actively teaching a new generation of kids that their transgender peers are lesser, are a threat to them, and should be excluded. Anti-trans bills teach hate."
2) "Anti-trans sports bans reinforce harmful beliefs about female athletes. Kids are being taught that female athletes are less capable and are held to lower standards of performance than males. Anti-trans bills are sexist."
3) "Trans health care bans open the door for religious based discrimination in medicine. Laws that allow providers to refuse care to trans patients could also allow them to discriminate against visibly gender non-conforming, queer, gay, and lesbian individuals. Anti-trans bills are dangerous."
4) "Anti-trans laws are dangerous and perpetuate patriarchal beliefs about sex and gender. Trans people will not be the only ones harmed by transphobic laws. Anti-trans bills hurt everyone.")
Stacey was stuck inside due to the cold weather. She got her orangish brown sweater and comfy joggers on along with some apple cider. Stacey was going to binge watch a bunch of shows and movies for the day with some snacks and her drink next to her. Stacey decided to watch The Hexes a tv show with at least 2 or 3 seasons. The episode started with a trio of witches hexing a bunch of people in their academy. The show was pretty decent a trio of villainous witches hexing people and doing evil deeds. Stacey yelled at the tv from time to time, or swooned over a certain character. Eventually her dog Rex who is such a cute husky jumped onto her bed. Stacey petted her dog Rex, letting her dog lay on her lap, or next to her. Stacey watched a couple more episodes of Hexes eating a cherry filled breaded snack called Dungles. They were delicious along with sipping her apple cider. Her dog Rex decided to bounce running off to somewhere. Stacey dusted off herself from her dogs hair clicking on the final episode of season 1. The final episode was the trio The Hexes battling there foe The Enchantress. It was such a good final that Stacey decided to binge the next season.
Vin and their girlfriend Jasper we’re drinking apple cinnamon tea watching a scary movie in the mid-afternoon. Jasper was getting scared grabbing onto Vin fiercely. Vin smiled bringing Jasper closer to them. Jasper was clinging onto Vin hiding behind them because the movie frightened her. Vin decided to turn off tv and to cuddle instead. They put there drinks on the table after finishing the delicious tea. Vin and their girlfriend laid down on the bed pulling the blanket around then. Instead of watching the movie they decided to cuddle instead.
