they made a full-cast rerecording of some of the Murderbot books, which so far does kick ass in terms of being a fun way to re-read, but the differences between these people and original narrator Kevin R. Free are sometimes too much. I'm just like "that is Not Dr. Mensah, who is this imposter and what have you done with the real Dr. Mensah. Is this the work of Barish-Estranza?"

I am Not Happy about the Mensah casting, but I like their ART better than Kevin R Free’s ART voice, so for me there’s pros and cons.

Admiral Croft wishing that all women were named the same thing to make life simpler:

This is especially funny because most women did all have the same names back then (the top 5 names alone, Mary, Elizabeth, Ann, Sarah and Jane, covered 62% of all women!). The poor admiral would be lost among the diverse, deep sea of unique names nowadays!

Especially especially funny because Admiral Croft's wife is called Sophy (/Sophia). He is really an "ah yes, the most suitable name for ladies, that I would never forget, a very superior name indeed, my wife's <3" kind of guy

Toddlers are fun, because mine will regularly address our cat Findus as "kitty, caT, puss, meow, Fifi, or Finde" only to look me dead in the eye while petting him this morning and go: "Duck! Quack quack <3"

1. Cooking for people I love, because that means they are in my house and I get to feed them (SOON)

2. Playing detective games with my friends! I have decided to be the sort of person who organises low-roleplay high-aesthetic murder mystery parties~

3. Crafting physical things like felt creatures or dollhouse things that I can then hold and look at because I Made Them with my Hands

4. Being in nature. Which is strange considering how much effort it is to get me out of the house and into aforementioned nature

5. When my almost two-year-old Freckling is doing something with every single ounce of conviction their little body can contain. Like banging a brush against the kitchen cabinets yelling "scrubbin! scrubbin! scrubbin!"
