there is a sense of loss i can't quite shake. an ache i don't think i'll ever be rid of. it started when i was very young and has grown alongside me ever since. it's not to say i haven't had good moments ever in this life. i've plenty a palette to draw my brush from, but still i choose to paint sorrowful creatures. that feeling is what is most familiar to me, and in an odd paradox, has brought me the most comfort with my work.
