Android: Emergency Features
I’m running Android 6.0.1 on a Samsung Galaxy S5. I don’t know if these features are on other phones. (It seems like these features are available from S4 on up. You may have to find them a bit differently but there’s information on Google if you search “safety assistance s#”)
With just a minute of your time you can set your phone to send your contacts emergency information if you are being attacked or feel threatened, just by tapping your power button 3 times. Here’s how to set it up!
1. Go to settings and click Safety Assistance
2. Go to Send Help Messages
3. Turn it on and click which options you want it to send in case of emergency
3. Go back to The Safety Assistance menu. Click manage primary contacts
4. Add up to four contacts you would notify in case of emergency
Then you’re all set up!!
In case you feel threatened or are in a bad situation to activate you just have to press your POWER BUTTON 3X (three times)
Immediately there will be active little icon in your notification bar acting messages will be sent to your primary contacts until you physically turn them off.
Your contacts will receive an audio recording, your exact GPS location and pictures from the back and front facing cameras.
SIGNAL BOOST THIS TO SAVE A LIFE!!
This incredibly pure and important
MY FRAGILE HEART
