Deliveries were not part of your job description. You were a barista, for god’s sake. You make the drinks, not deliver them.
Yet here you were, walking through the cities’s streets. The plastic bit into your hand, the handles leaving lines of scarlet red snaking through your palm. With every step you took, you could feel the coffee swirl in their cups, restless as ever.
Glancing from the left to the right, you suppress a shudder. The darkness cloaked the buildings, shrouding in it shadow. Alleys seem to be endless, devoured entirely by an deep ebony black. The only light was from the headlights of cars rushing by, little pinpricks of red and white.
Slipping your phone out, you stare at the map. Knitting your brows together, you pinch at the device, trying to maximise the screen. Leave it to Idia to stay in the most out of the way places. Great for staying hidden, horrible for deliveries.
Being honest, you’ll normally never make a home call like this. You’ve served enough of your patrons to understand the dangers of their profession. You value your own life very much, thank you.

I did cheat a little and do Nine Visual Novel Characters!
In order from left to right:
1. Meeting In The Flesh (Complete) - In this unique world where everyone lives off salt who will you choose to spend your time with? The world building blew me away to the point I forgot it was an 18+ spicy monster lover game. Also the MC is named Vil and Nonbinary!
2. This Life Escapes Me (Complete) - Very short ten minute visual novel. You’re brought back to life by a necromancer. You have no memory of him but he seems to know you. Very emotional gut punch of a story.
3. Trapped with Jester (Complete) - Another short game. You’re trapped with a Jester, how will you react?
4. See Thru: Need a Friend? (Demo) - Your childhood friend wants you to ditch work, will you?
5. Saint Spell’s Love Guide to Magical Student’s Handbook (Complete) - If I’m being honest I haven’t beaten this entire game (there’s 29 routes).

Trigger Warning: forced pet play
You hated the damn cat bed. Yeah, it was bigger than your average cat bed, but it still wasn’t nearly as big as it would need to be for you to stretch out while you slept. No, you had to curl up tightly on the bed, which was just what Shinsou wanted. He loved to coo about how adorable you looked all nestled in your little bed, looking so cozy, as he put it. Never mind the fact you were just doing your best to stay warm without any blankets to help you. No, it seemed that so long as Shinsou could see your tail wrapped around you tightly, nothing else really mattered.
“Alright, kitten. It’s time for bed now.”
Lifting your head off of Shinsou’s chest, you blinked sadly at him. It had taken some time (as well as a few uses of Shinsou’s quirk), but these days you found yourself enjoying anytime you got to spend on an actual, human bed, even if it meant having to cuddle with him. The chance to feel human was becoming increasingly rare under Shinsou’s care these days, what with your new food bowl and the claw clippers Shinsou had decided that you needed.
“Aw,” Shinsou crooned, scratching you gently behind your ears, “don’t give me that look, pet. You have your own bed to sleep in.”
“Please,” you murmured, nuzzling your face into his hand the way you knew he liked. “I want to stay up here with you.”
“Aren’t you a clingy little kitty? I’m not sure, you know I always love to cuddle with you, but bad kitties don’t get special treats,” he scolded you.
“I’ll be good,” you said softly, “I promise.”
“Sure, you say that now, but by the time the morning roles around and you’re actually expected to be a good kitten…”
“No, I swear, I’ll be good! I’ll be good right now!”
“Really? Are you sure?”
Sensing you were close to getting what you wanted, you began to nod, but then, remembering that Shinsou didn’t really like you using those kind of human gestures, you forced a rough purr out of your throat. Shinsou smiled at your submission, tipping your head towards him so he could kiss the tips of your soft, furred-covered ears. Sighing exaggeratedly, he slipped off of the bed, walking towards his closet and searching inside. You tilted your head, confused that he was going to the closet when he was already dressed for bed.
“I can’t say no to my little kitten,” Shinsou mused, “you can sleep in my bed tonight. And if you’re good, you can sleep there from now on.”
“Thank you!” you meowed excitedly. “I’ll be so good—”
“But,” he interrupted, walking back towards the bed, “being good starts right now.”
With that, Shinsou held something out for you to see. It was collar, lavender just like his hair and eyes, and your first name was embroidered on it in white lace. Right under the center of your name though, hung not only a small silver bell, but also a silver tag. Looking closely, you noticed that it was engraved with something.

Frozen, you simply stared at it for a moment, looking at the words blankly. Dimly you wondered if being able to sleep in actual bed would be worth it. But, you reminded yourself, chances were that if you tried to refuse, Shinsou would put it on you anyway, using his quirk if he had to. And if he had to do that, there was no chance of you getting anything. So, forcing down your words of protest, you closed your eyes and bent your head submissively, allowing Shinsou to fasten the collar around your neck.
