🌸 100 calorie spaghetti 🌸

Hey guys c:

I thought I’d share my recipe for spaghetti in tomato sauce with you which I’m absolutely in love with. I can finally enjoy some spaghetti without regretti (I’m sorry).

I hope you enjoy it as well!

It makes one serving and it’s only 98 calories in total!

Ingredients

  • 200g shirataki noodles (you can get those in Asian supermarkets) ~19 kcal
  • 5g garlic ~7 kcal
  • 70g onion ~20 kcal
  • 200g diced tomatoes ~50 kcal
  • some seasoning (I added salt, pepper, chili, frozen basil & parsley) ~2 kcal

Instruction

Rinse your shirataki noodles and put them into a non-stick frying pan. Don’t add anything else yet, we want to dry the noodles a bit to get rid of their rubber-ish texture.

In the meantime you can dice the onions and mince the garlic.

When the noodles start to shrink, you can add the garlic and the onions. Stir it from time to time and be careful to not burn them!

I usually take half of the tomatoes and blend them with an immersion blender so the sauce will be a bit creamier. I then mix the diced tomatoes and the blended ones together and add the seasoning.

When the onions start to turn a bit yellow/brown-ish you can add the sauce.

Let it cook for about 4 minutes and you’re done!

I hope you guys enjoy the recipe as well! I also made a 100 calorie stir-fry recipe.

Hi! I have been wondering your take on this opinion that I've been seeing. Lately it feels like team Logan is growing, and I've been seeing a lot of people say how much Logan fought for Rory even though he messed up whereas they think Jess didn't fight for her. What do you think of people saying Logan fought for Rory, but Jess didn't?

Hmm. "Logan fought for Rory." Huh. I guess it depends on what that means. I do think that Logan fought to convince Rory to stay with him at certain points, but it sometimes seemed more about his need to get what he wants than about her happiness. Logan has to win. Logan seemed most interested in fighting for her when Rory wanted to walk away. But when she requested he wait long-distance for her instead of moving across the country with him and getting married right away, suddenly that wasn't worth the effort to him. And he certainly didn't seem to be fighting for her in the Revival, except that he couldn't let her have the last word. He had to come back to say goodbye on HIS terms, though he made it pretty clear he had no intention of leaving Odette when Rory asked him about it.

As far as how that relates to Jess... I mean, Logan is pretty confident. Like a good salesman, Logan is convinced that he has a lot to offer. Jess... well, he did NOT really feel like he had a lot to offer, especially as he was spiraling into a crisis of depression and self-doubt at the end of his Senior year. You could say that Jess fought for Rory in Season 2, when he was taking every opportunity to convince her that they were right for each other and even moved back to Stars Hollow for her after she visited him in New York. But then she left him hanging for the summer and from that point on, he seemed to doubt that Rory wanted to be with HIM. And I think that's the thing, here: Jess wants Rory to have what SHE wants. When he doesn't "fight for her," it's because he thinks she doesn't want him. He hasn't always done a good job of it, but I think his intent has been to respect her wishes. He will fight for Rory to be honest with herself, and he will fight for her to be true to herself and go for what she wants, but he wants the decision to be hers.

As much pressure as Logan's approach seemed to put on Rory at times (and there were definitely times when she seemed to feel trapped by it instead of "valued"), I do think Rory responded to it. She's the type of person who "needs to be needed," and Logan did a pretty good job of convincing her that he needed and wanted her (when he WANTED to. Is that healthy though, when he's occasionally been manipulative about it, and when it has to be on HIS terms? That's up for debate). And yeah, for better or worse, that's not something Jess tends to do (at least in his younger days). I don't see that as a long-term compatibility deal-breaker though. It would be a communication issue that they would have to work on, but every relationship, including healthy and successful ones, has some of those! (Ask me and my 13 year marriage if we ever have any misunderstandings along those lines? Neeeeever! By which I mean all the freaking time, haha!)

@plannedparenthood

What does planned parenthood have to do with anything? Or is this your trash attempt at making a anti abortion argument?

As far as I am concerned, she has nights where they make food from the cultures of each respective kid. And she makes sure all her kids maintain their dual citizenship (where they’re from and US) & visit often. Jolie is an exception, she doesn’t steal, she respects, embraces and accepts. She raises her children with understanding and compassion of people of different race and culture. Bravo.
