Gives Light by Rose Christo
He turned his head and gazed at me, eyes dancing and blue, remnants of a smile dancing on his face. How beautiful he looked. Β Unsullied by the worldβs darker secrets; privy to its innocent ones. Β I could almost believe he was inhuman and had never known anything beyond the profound simplicity of nature, tameless and wild, and the animal hearts that beat within each and every one of us. Β He was Pan and I was Daphnis. Β I never stood a chance.

EDEN DAMBRINE as LEO & GUSTAV DE WAELE as REMI
CLOSE (2022) dir. Lukas Dhont β³ Imagine youβre a very small duckling. You just came out of your shell. Youβve just opened your eyes for the very first time. All the ducks are yellow, and so are you, but youβre much more beautiful than the others. Youβre special. One day, you decide to leave, and you encounter a lizard. Youβre wondering what it is, as youβve never seen one before. You think that this lizard is odd. And it rhymes, too. But you like it, because its colour is special, just like you. One day, you leave together and you end up on a trampoline. You start jumping on the trampoline. You jump as high as the stars.

The Evermore Grimoire: Cities
Asgard was the home of the Aesir gods and a resting place for the dead as well as one of the Nine Realms in Norse mythology. Odin (king of Asgard) held court. There, in the great halls of Valhalla, he was joined by Thor (god of thunder), Heimdall (god of keen eyesight), and other Norse gods, as well as the souls of half of all warriors who died in battle. The other half went to FΓ³lkvangr, a nearby meadow ruled by Frejya (goddess of love). Asgard was connected to Midgard, the realm of humanity, via the Bifrost, a rainbow bridge guarded by Heimdall. As the home of the gods, Asgard was the preeminent realm as well as a place of unearthly size, grandeur and beauty. It came as close toΒ civilisedΒ perfection as was possible in the realms. Asgard was not the focal point of Norse cosmology, however. For all its majesty, it was but one realm upon the world tree Yggdrasil, and as such was entirely dependent on it for structure and vitality.
