American Horror Story actor Ben Woolf is in critical condition after being struck by a car’s side mirror in Hollywood last night. Please keep him in your thoughts for a quick and safe recovery.

Woolf portrayed Infantata in the first season of American Horror Story and returned as Meep in Freak Show.

feminist (2014); when you spend so much time with the folks here at tumblr dot com, i think you kind of forget that in the real world, feminism is still regarded as extreme and has this weird bad connotation to it. we talk about classic feminist literature in my lectures and i’m shocked by how many people disagree with feminist ideals. every single person in my life has this internalized misogyny that they aren’t even aware of. that’s why, for my final photography project, i decided to cover feminism. i utilized an institutional-type wall and two simple continuous profoto lights to create a man-on-the-street vibe and recruited some of the most passionate feminists i know to pose with signs. it’s a simple idea for those of us who are so passionate about feminism, but i’m hoping it will help open the eyes of my classmates who never give these ideas a second thought.

  I’ve said this before and I’ll point it out again - 

Menstruation is caused by change in hormonal levels to stop the creation of a uterine lining and encourage the body to flush the lining out. The body does this by lowering estrogen levels and raising testosterone. 

Or, to put it more plainly “That time of the month” is when female hormones most closely resemble male hormones. So if (cis) women aren’t suited to office at “That time of the month” then (cis) men are NEVER suited to office.

If you are a dude and don’t dig the ladies around you at their time of the month, just think! That is you all of the time. 

And, on a final note, post-menopausal (cis) women are the most hormonally stable of all human demographics. They have fewer hormonal fluctuations of anyone, meaning older women like Hilary Clinton and Elizabeth Warren would theoretically be among the least likely candidates to make an irrational decision due to hormonal fluctuations, and if we were basing our leadership decisions on hormone levels, then only women over fifty should ever be allowed to hold office. 

I did not know any of this! This is so cool! Science!

it is 3:20am and i’m meant to be drawing other things but i think i needed this because i’m starting school again tomorrow. motivational grumps!

Phew, finally! Had to go digging through Suzy’s blog to find this again.

This was and is by far the most achievement I ever made on my blog note-wise before I accidentally deleted it. I aint just gonna let those notes go to waste, come to mama.

Do things to make yourself feel positive, whether it’s cleaning your room, doing your hair, or planting flowers. You’ll feel accomplished. 18. Sometimes breathing is the only thing you’ll feel strong enough to do. That’s okay. 19. Never forget how important self-expression is. 20. Don’t give up.
