I've been saying that LARPing and BDSM have so much in common. Including using the language of play/scenes, having safewords and often discussing what you'll be doing in play before. Also how some larp really is about going through some intense suffering on purpose the same way you might in some kinky play. Like there's LARPs known for effecting people emotionally for weeks and being physically hard on your body. One LARP that I read through the signup said "you might be stripped naked, blindfolded and struck with implements" which is literally just actual BDSM. In both communities it's known that you might experience an emotional drop after playing and I've come across discussions on if it's okay to play on child abuse in both as well.
But I feel like I have to complain about the wording "LARP that makes you cum" because kink does not have to be about anyone cuming.
