Did you know I just have some baleens laying around? Actually that’s not uncommon I’d say for folks up here. Only Alaska natives are allowed to hunt whales thankfully, and I got mine cuz my dad met some guy selling them on the road and he was like yeahh that’s cool. So now we have those. We brought many. I think Alaska has some laying around too.

While it is objectively hilarious that Musk is shooting down his own bird, I do feel for the small journalists who use Twitter to spread news and stories from places like the Middle East that are often ignored by the rest of the world, but are still important to share. They are losing their platform as well.
I cannot stress enough to Tumblr staff that they do not need to change the site. Do not try to be like Twitter. Do not try to be like Reddit. Do not alter how this site works.
Tumblr will be the most popular social media site if they continue letting all these other sites implode

People act like ‘twitter is dying? GOOD’ and I get it, there is LOTS of shitty people in there. But they won’t just cease to exist with twitter’s death. They’ll just spread and infect other platforms. And I would rather have all the shit mostly in one place.
NOT TO MENTION all the foreign creators that have only twitter as western platform. What about them?? What about all the creators in general??? What about all the marginalised communities that support each other????
