the people who are obsessed with like celebrity blind items about child stars/hollywood pedophilia are so off putting. they have all the worst aspects of true crime people and clearly do not actually care at all about children being exploited and view it solely as entertainment. like they come off as if they would be disappointed instead of relieved if one of their theories turned out not to be true.
