The sun doesn’t try to struggle when it is her time to set, and the moon understands that she has her own sense of beauty in the vast darkness. Life at times will present us with monumental disappointment, and although we must keep faith that the sun will arise in the morning, we must not dismiss the beauty of the moon and her darkness. The darkness contains lessons and experiences for our growth. We must experience both the sun and the moon in order to have true understanding.

I don't diss mine
I’m back and I’m so happy to say I’ve officially raised over $500 for Buckeyethon!
Again, if you don’t know about Buckeyethon, it is the largest student-run philanthropy in the state of Ohio, run by students of The Ohio State University, where I am lucky to attend school. Students who become team members of Buckeyethon pledge to raise at least $250, but ultimately have a goal of raising $1,000. The money goes towards the hematology and oncology centers at Nationwide Children’s Hospital. So far, my $500+ goes towards getting an IV bag for one child with pediatric cancer. $1,000 will raise even more, and I would like to ask you guys for help to reach the rest of my goal.
At the moment I am posting this, I have $463 left to raise before I reach $1,000. It would mean so much to me if you guys took the time and money to donate even $5 to this cause. Buckeyethon is an amazing opportunity to raise money for children with pediatric cancer. Additionally, Buckeyethon has pledged to raise $2 million this year, and I want to do all I can to help that.
If you can’t donate, don’t worry, but please reblog and spread the word. Remember, each donation is tax deductible, and it’s also going towards children who are in desperate need of it. The money will go towards treatment, research, and extra costs for the families who come to Nationwide Children’s Hospital for pediatric cancer care, which, if you do not live in America and do not know, can be extremely costly.
I am a passionate Ohio State student, as well as a passionate member of my community, and I would love to raise $1,000 for children right here in Columbus.
