after eight years, I finally updated my huge Historical Fashion Reference & Resources Doc! Now in the form of a MUCH more easily updated Google Doc with better organization, refreshed links, and five more pages of books and online resources.

I know tumblr hates links, but it’s worth it for a doc that I can now update with far more regularity going forward! RIP to the original, you did your duty for far longer than you should have. 😔🙏🏼

Okay a few headcanons:

  • As they get older, more accustomed to fighting, their costumes change to suit them. Chat’s takes some things from Felix’s design.
  • Marinette eventually just sticks to a ponytail, but gets two red ribbons on it, and Chats hair gets messier, popped collar too.
  • Their wedding, you know they would have Chat Noir theme for groomsmen and Ladybug theme for bridesmaid, even if no one understands the reference.
  • TWIN GIRLS. They are Adriens ‘Little Ladies’.

(Ladybugs hibernate in the winter, but Marinette can’t hibernate, so i imagine she gets really sleepy and cold in the wintertime.. cute!)

Exquisitely Enigmatic Surreal Digital Illustrations by Cyril Rolando

French digital artist Cyril Rolando (previously featured here) is known for his surreal otherworld illustrations, inspired by Tim Burton and Hayoa Miyazaki. Rolando is a self-taught artist who had humble beginnings, from becoming introduced to the world of art in through a website called Oekaki and then gradually becoming learning the finer art of digital paintwork through professional instruments such a Photoshop and Wacom. Astonishing his audience with captivating scenes of dreamy landscapes and unique characters rich with life and emotion, this artist uses subtle techniques to not overwhelm them.
