Jesus is the lover of my soul | 24 | I love Jesus, baking, singing, sewing/fashion, nature & books|

Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave Himself up for her. Ephesians 5:25

Husbands, love your wives, and do not be harsh with them. Colossians 3:19

Husbands, in the same way, treat your wives with consideration as a delicate vessel, and with honor as fellow heirs of the gracious gift of life, so that your prayers will not be hindered. 1 Peter 3:7

And Adam said, "This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh." Genesis 2:23

In the same way husbands should love their wives as their own bodies. Ephesians 5:28

The man who finds a wife finds a treasure, and he receives favor from the LORD. Proverbs 18:22

when a man pursues or courts a woman, he is showing initative and ambition

when a man pays for his woman, he is showing he is generous and a good provider

when a man commits to his woman, he is showing that he loves, respects, and honors her

when a man does what he says, he is showing that he has integrity and is dependable

these are hallmarks of good character. good character is the foundation of a good husband and then a good father. marriage is not just the cutesy living together and grocery shopping together and pushing a stroller together. it's an undertaking. it's a union. it's serious stuff. it's an oath. it's not something that should be easily broken (despite what divorce rates tell you). marriage is about sharing the good, lighthearted times, yes. but it's also about the hard stuff. it's about who is going to be in your life when loss occurs. when health fails. when finances plummet. if you cannot see yourself with your husband through the loss of a parent or a child, through cancer or childbirth, through poverty, then you shouldn't be with them.

When we die to OUR OWN methods, ideas, and formulas, and begin to truly minister in the pattern of heaven, only then can God truly begin to release the Kingdom into our life.

Jesus prophesied, "I say to you, he who believes in Me, the works that I do he will do also; and greater works than these he will do, because I go to My Father" (John 14:12).

Breaking out of the box of traditional limitations, carries with it increased power and clairty with diversities of anointing, exhibiting faith coupled with humlity.

The Church is our practice ground, but the world is our field of operations. As we come into God’s purpose for our life and obey the voice of the Spirit, we will find ourselves doing the works of Jesus and even greater, thus making it possible for His effectiveness to be multiplied as more territory becomes part of His Kingdom. Let His Kingdom come on earth as it is in Heaven!

"Modern Christians hope to save the world by being like it but it will never work. The Church's power over the world springs out of her unlikeness to it, never from her integration into it."
