I woke up at 7ish my time after a nap and for the first time in spite of it being hot as fuck I managed to not wake up dehydrated and so I’m like “dads not home tonight I’m gonna make myself a burger” cause my mom was in an experimental mood this week and bought some garlic aioli (it’s just spiced mayo if you don’t know what it is) and we’d had burgers the other day but I didn’t really get to taste mine because I was doing some for a lack of a better word “experiments” with frying jalapeños and so a life hack for the oomfies I like to put a half cup of water in at the end with my carmelized onions to make them more gummy as I have cringe little sensory issues about vegtables (it’s really fucking annoying that I have to treat myself like a fucking toddler and hide my veggies in other shit but discresion) and I’m unwilling to take the 30 minutes or so to jelly them proper at *checks notes* “as low as you can get the burner while still having it be on legally” so this is a very long winded way to say that I accidentally tear gassed myself which really pissed me off because a) I just fuckign quickscoped myself and b) because I’m actually a really good boy about preping pepper I put on glove I make sure to not wipe my face even though the kitchen is so so hot and I am sweating like a hog and this makes me come across as incompetent it’s a black stain on my honor so when it happened I just shotgunned the burgers (which I hadn’t finished yet) took a shower and ate my shit in like five seconds because that night I got an ask that made me very emotional and had begun to cry into my burger BUT oversharing aside this very long winded subplot was all to tell you that I wanted borg and a small hitch was that mama made enchilada before she left bereaving our household of ground chuck but what she did graciously leave me was a small package of boneless pork chops which I crafted with my seven brain cells into a nice butterflied pork patty that I was actually really proud of I managed to cook it properly the cheese and aioli complimented it really well I had apple sauce with it which you’d think garlic and apple sauce wouldn’t go together but it fucked severely
