100% agree. Snivy and Greninja bond very quickly when they meet, and share the same big sibling energy. They also bond over their shared appreciate of Ash, who took them in and refused to give up on them, no matter how stubborn they could get.

This is one of my favorite Pokemon ships and I have no regrets
I saw someone did a drawing AU with Ash and Serperior (AHHHHHHHH YES!) being his regional ace or something like that. I love Ash’s Snivy and she’s honestly one of my all time favorite Ash’s mon. But that’s beside the point. I also liked the drawing because I honestly thought Snivy was built up to be his ace let alone his first female ace with the mysterious backstory she had. It’s ashamed that never got anywhere but I can always dream.
And I don’t know if it’s just me but if Ash’s snivy ever evolved into Serperior, I think she and Sceptile would make a good couple. What do you all think?
