@muffinman88

Things about big 4 grunge concerts that give me serotonin

- Krist not wearing shoes so his bass sounds better

- Stone mouthing guitar chords

- Eddie and Chris subtlety doing backing vocals for each other’s bands where the audience can’t see them

- Kurt diving into Dave’s drum set

- Chris wrapping his shorts in duct tape

- Eddie’s climbing

- Layne and Jerry head banging in sync to the beginning of man in the box

- Layne making fun of his own guitar playing during angry chair

- Layne and Jerry constantly getting super close to each other to talk between songs

- The little hair flip Jerry does every time He’s finished singing a line

- Stone’s little hop/ skip walk he does across stage

- Krist tossing his bass in the air

- The other members of soundgarden being absolutely unfazed by Chris’ onstage fuckery

- How low Ben wears his goddamn bass

- anything Dave Abbruzzese does

- soundgarden and Pearl Jam constantly wearing each other’s merch on stage

- Krist carrying Kurt

If you don’t feel any need to reblog this unfollow me.

Seriously what the fuck you spent money on those donate to a homeless shelter instead you fucking demons

This is more common than you may think. Many urban areas that have high homeless populations are using “defensive architecture” more and more. Sloped and divided benches to keep the homeless from sleeping on them. Spikes placed in sheltered areas where they tend to stay. City planners argue they are only trying to relocate the homeless, pushing them to see out shelters and homeless centers. But that rings hollow. They just want them out of sight. I don’t have a simple, easy solution. But this isn’t it. Making things harder for the homeless does not help them.

All these corporations have so much money to spend it on putting spikes on places where homeless people sleep yet absolutely NOTHING goes to those who are homeless. This country really doesn’t give a fuck about the well being of homeless people at all

this is heartbreaking fr .

By the way you can remove these spikes with wither a sledgehammer and a heavy metal spike (sharpened crowbar with a downwards slant and the handle removed or something similar) or a concrete saw if you’ve got one of those. It’s illegal to do but it also only takes about an hour if there aren’t too many spikes.

Alternatively, if you put a mattress over them they become useless, although you do risk having the city take the mattress. Normally they don’t reinstall the spikes if you keep removing them.

As for the benches, a concrete or hand held circular saw can cut off the arm rests of the benches with too many arm rests to sleep on. Just remember: Wear protective goggles and practice proper safety if using power tools. All of this stuff can be bought at Home Depot or your local variant of Home Depot.

For legal purposes I have to advise you that this is illegal and I’m not advising you to do this.

remember: they can’t catch you if you’re faster than they are!

I was cleaning my hard drive and found a bunch of random bits of Patty so….?

Nolan Patrick, with Ophelia by The Lumineers, I guess.

(So y’all know: this was very emotional to make because of the footage I had to wade through but I did my best/worst so now it’s a bit less emotional.)(It’s still emotional, but maybe a bit bittersweet?)

Not sure how I missed this but wow. This is amazing.

being a young millenial/old gen z is like yeah i have phone numbers memorised: my own, my mom’s, and my childhood best friend’s landline which probably has not been in service for 10 years
