As everyone on Twitter is running around in a mass hysteria, I’m going to work on building this little house back. I’m going to try to still use twitter but this is 100% where I’m coming if it disappears. I’ve even requested my twitter archive so I can just repost any bangers I’ve had over the years.

Anyone Out There????

My Sim

This is Scott. He is me and the main one that the legacy of this game centers on. Oddly loves to cook and is very good at it so there is some difference.

Scott has two parents, Fred and Sandra. Not my real parents names but weirdly look enough like my parents.

He has two siblings just like me in real life but in the game Scott is the oldest. His sister is Lonnie and brother is Toby. 

This is Nick (mohawk and in yellow) and Travis Jones. Travis was Scott’s boyfriend and are now married. (Funny story about Travis to be posted later)

They have a sister, Vikki.

And of course parents, Walter and Kathy. Since Travis and Scott are now married, they are also his family as well. We’re getting close to Scott and Travis getting a kid, so the legacy of these two families will begin.

Others to mention:

I gave Scott a roommate (while he was single) based on one of my roommates. This is Sam.

Sam is engaged to Elizabeth (the blonde) and she has a roommate named Janet. 

Scott has a best friend named Ravi who is here with his husband Hank. 

All of these people also have parents in the game but I got tired of taking screen shots. And there are even other families as well.

2020 New Sim Game

It’s been over a year since I posted on this tumblr. But I’ve decided to change that.

In the year 2020, I’ve decided to start a new game on the Sims 4 and actually play through generations instead of my usual play style where I start a new game play for a day or two and then start a new game with a different idea (but not really that different).

And because I’m going to do this for a long period, I thought I’d chronicle it, right here on this tumblr. I’ve been already playing for a couple of weeks and some things have already transpired. There aren’t a lot of rules. I can cheat when I need to: add some money, exit without saving to undo something, speed up relationships or learning skills, use free real estate when moving people into houses. I have done all of these but I don’t and won’t do them frequently. And aim to do them less when the next generation is born. The rules I do have: when a Sim becomes a young adult, they move out of their parents house to the big city. When sims become adults they get married and have children. Keep a cap of 70 sims in my favorites, retire (unfavorite) Sims to make room for more when it gets over 70 (Max is 80 Incase your wondering so working with buffer of 10). More rules may come the deeper I get into the game.

My next post will introduce many of the families I started with (I deleted all of the default sims to get a fresh new place.

Tumblr says this is explicit. Might be good to just delete these 8+ years of my life.

Does anyone still use Tumblr? I haven’t posted in a while. And even then it’s just be what I post on Instagram. My tumblr is still my homepage for Safari on this computer so I see it a lot and since I don’t update it, it doesn’t really change. Maybe I’ll start posting again. One day.

I posted that I was feeling depressed on Twitter. I didn’t @ anyone, no #, just a little tweet screaming into the darkness so I could get it off my chest. Then this actor, who I might have tweeted @ one or twice years ago about his podcast, took time out of his life to respond to me. It’s a very nice feeling knowing that someone sees you, someone you never thought would be looking. I’m posting this here so I’ll never forget.

Let’s try this again.

Trying something new.

If you can get a bigger TV, just get more small ones. Trying this set up for now. Feel like 7-year-old Scott would approve.
